Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Masami Nagasawa: A real blast from the past!!!!

A real blast from the past is putting it mildly to say the least. Bet at the Aitoda blog Masami has 235 posts but wouldn't doubt if 230 of them were before 2018, last post I recall doing for her was last October when she finished 8th on my all time top twenty list. Very impressive showing or it would be for almost anyone but at one time Masami was my #1 of all time, no lower than second and those rankings would have been from 2010 to about 2016, she was no flash in the pan.
But Masami really slowed down on her activities from mid 2015 to early 2018, it was getting easy to forget about her. Plus she cut her hair way too short, don't have anything against short hair but her style really left something to be desired. However things have turned around this year, don't know if the second half will be as busy but the first half of 2019 certainly has been.

No woman can surpass how Masami has looked at events, that above was from 2015 but these days she dresses so conservatively. Too much in my opinion and why has she gone for such an image at her still young age(?), she'll be turning 32 in exactly one week. But perhaps things are looking up for posts, could do another one or two for her pre-April activities and just may do that.
No dramas yet this year but Masami has been in three films already, two have hit #1 at the box office. She has the lead in her current film and the lead female part in her other two so she could be more popular than ever. The last few years there's been such a lack of mag spreads though to be honest after 2014 she didn't seem to appear in as many as she once did. But there are a few new pics from some fashion sites such as these from Lowrys Farm.

Masami is also a model these days for Biteki, she does have a small spread for their June issue but will have that in her next post. Do promise to have at least one more coming up soon as she still has fans here, these are newish from the Biteki site.

Next post will have some info on Masami's first film for 2019 which came out in January. Her second film is titled "Kingdom" and that was released on April 19th, looks to be an action packed film. The premiere took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya, seems most big films do have their premiere there. Some pics from the event followed by a few stills from the movie's site.

Masami's last drama began in April of 2018 and was titled "The Confidence Man JP". At the time was pondering on watching it and as time went on forgot all about it. But have been curious about it again recently and have finally decided to view it. Have 1 1/2 dramas to finish up so should be starting it by mid June. It was a popular series as there's a movie version of it that just came out but before that there were three(!) screenings for the film. Just have one for today which place May 8th at the Nihonbashi Hall in Tokyo. The film does have an impressive cast and many of them weren't in
the drama.

These days Masami is truly looking better than ever, kind of hard to tell from many of the pics and so glad she let her hair grow out again. She has the lead role in the movie and also did in the drama. The film's premiere took place on May 17th, once again the location were the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya. In it's first week out it was number one at the box office. There's a couple of videos out there for the event but decided to have a new CM for Idemitsu Japan, Masami just looks so darn good in it.
