Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Ruka Matsuda: A little bit of this and that....

Here's a semi newbie who I like quite a bit and know many others do too, hope more viewers from the Aitoda begin checking out women like her here as I won't be doing any posts for them at the old blog. As I've mentioned a few times before was first introduced to Ruka in the "Kakegurui" drama, the first season of it. Season two has a pair of episodes to go but as I've also mentioned so far it hasn't been subbed. But the first season wasn't done until it finished it's run so am expecting the same thing to happen again.

Few gravure pics to start off with but Ruka isn't too known for those kinds of pics, reason there's been some recent ones in that vein is because she just released her first photobook. Ruka was also a Kamen Rider gal and was in the 2016 version of the long running series. Haven't seen that one yet but all of those series are worth checking out. But "Kakegurui" is the drama that definitely needs to be checked out and all ten of season one's episodes have been recapped along with many events for the show and film. Ruka plays the daughter of an extremely wealthy father in the show, her character's name is Itsuki who of course lost to Yumeko in a round of betting.

That top pic is a poster for the film that came out on May 3rd. Ruka was at the premiere but hasn't been at two events that have taken place since then but she has been a bit busy. For that film and another movie titled "Toshimaen: Haunted Park" Ruka did a round of interviews which were also for her first PB, these are from the Walker Plus site.

Even more interview pics which are from the Town Work site.

Ruka will be turning 24 in October, even though this is her fifth post didn't realize she hailed from Okinawa as don't a few other of my faves. Title of her first photobook has the simple title of "Ruka" and it came out in May. It did fairly well sales wise as it was on Oricon's top ten list for at least two weeks, the cover and some promo pics from the book.

"Toshimaen: Haunted Park" had it's premiere on May 10th and have some pics here from the event. Besides her there's a few other of my faves who are in the film and as you can tell by the title it's a horror one.

Was just thinking that the competition to appear in mags must be tremendous. There's so many actresses, models and Idols these days vying for a spot in them, often wish my bigger faves appeared in more but it's easy to understand why that doesn't happen. But Ruka does have a pair of them for today with this first set being from the May 3rd edition of Tokyo Walker Plus.

No recent videos that are worth posting so will end off with this set of Ruka pics from the June 4th issue Flash, that top pic is out of this world!
