Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Kyoko Yoshine: An extremely overdue post....

Did carry this post over from my Aitoda blog but wanted to tie it in with the five posts after this which are for the "Channel wa Sonomama!' drama. There has been a lot of recent Kyoko activities so will have another post for her within the week.

Once again I've forgotten all about one of my introduction gals and this is a person who doesn't deserve to be forgotten. Kyoko's first and only post was done on her 21st birthday which is on February 28th, but it was done in the year.... 2018!!!! No excuse for the long gap as Kyoko is an actress who I really like quite a bit and have been following her, perhaps my faves list has gotten too big and it's hard to post about everyone.
But there will be no long gap between posts this time around, bet there will be three more within the next two months like this one. Kyoko has a film coming out in May and after a brief break during the Autumn she seems to be quite active again. She also has a new drama that just finished airing, watched the first show and will have info on that coming up.

Kyoko is among a group of actresses in their younger twenties who tend to let their work speak for them. Have never seen her do a gravure spread nor as she had one pic resembling one, kind of prefer women like her these days as the posts recently have become more conservative. Say that now but the post above this one which will be done in about half an hour is anything but conservative.
Kyoko's latest drama "Stay Tuned" aka Channel wa Sonomama! was a five episode series which aired on Netflix from March 11th to the 15th. This week it aired on HTB out of Hokkaido which is where the drama is set. Have only watched the first episode but have a strong feeling this may be my #1 show of the year. What a fun yet serious drama this is which takes place in a TV newsroom. Won't go into any details as it's a show which I'll start recapping at the beginning of April, in the series Kyoko has the lead role of Hanako who is a rookie in the news department.

Some pics from a pair of events last Autumn to announce the show.

Not going to go overboard with pics as I do have many of them but not a huge amount. Kyoko is somewhat of a busy actress but doesn't appear in too many mags or at promo events. She recently won a 'Best Newcomer Award' at the March 1st 'Japan Academy Awards' show, not sure why she won that as she's been around for many years and turned 22 last month. The award was for her performance in the "Kasane: Beauty and Fate" film which came out last September 7th. These are pics from it's premiere which took place on that date at the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya.

Kyoko is someone who does not post many pics on her Instagram or Twitter accounts though do have a few recent ones here, most are for the drama.

Have three mag spreads, two are older and will hold in to one for her next post because as mentioned Kyoko doesn't appear in that many mags. Bit of an oldie set here from December 2017 and Digimono Station, they're a website which features actresses or Idols who wear glasses.

These are bonus pics for the spread following them.

To end things off for today have a huge spread from the March 5th issue of Big Comic Spirits and Kyoko was their cover girl. Most cover girls get a video for the photo shoot, Kyoko was no different and have that after these pics.
