Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Minami Tanaka: Her beyond all praise(!) fifth post....

Beyond all praise seemed like an apt description for this post but more so for Minami who has definitely moved into my top current top four. Seems like this should be more than her fifth post but didn't have her first one until January so five in three months is a good pace and hope to keep it up. Should be able to as Minami does virtually everything you can think of besides being a J-Popper. She's a free announcer these days instead of having one steady gig, hosts a radio show, just finished her first major role in a drama and is a heavily in demand model Have a little of almost all of those things in this post.

Those above pics are from her 2017 Anan spread which could be the best set of all time, the complete spread is in her first post. Mentioned that Minami just completed her first major role in a drama, the series was titled "Justice Monster". Have watched the first two episodes and was planning on recapping the series as it started out so well but only one more show has been subbed.
If the drama does get finished will definitely watch the entire show and hopefully will do some posts for it. Reika was her character's name in the show and Minami did play a sultry woman. The top pics are from a press conference that was held on February 2nd for the drama, it was also the date it began on plus after them are a few screenshots.

Though Minami is more of a 'free announcer' these days she did have a long time position as a host of the "Hirukyun" show that aired on Tokyo MX. However the show ended after 2 1/2 years on March 29th, few pics from the show and have a video of the final airing at the bottom.

Minami is also currently a co-host of the 'Gutan' show that began on January 16th and also stars another huge fave of mine. Have watched a few shows but none were subbed nor ever will be, it's more of a women's talk show.

In the past Minami modeled for some clothing lines and fashion site but these days it's hard to keep up with all of the modeling she does. Won't hear me complaining as she looks so superb dressed a bit classy, am going to hold a few pics back for future posts and hope the next one isn't too long from now. This first set of new modeling pics is for the Apuweiser Spring collection.

Few of those above may have also been from their Winter collection but do have more new Spring pics for Noela.

Last post had at least twenty new pics from the Tocco site, no new ones for today but in case you missed that post(grrrr!) here are a few of the pics from it.

Mentioned Minami's 2017 Anan spread above, no new pics from the mag today but in her next post there may be as she'll be gracing their cover again.

Minami's last post was about two weeks ago, had these pics but forgot to post them which were from a March 9th interview with the Mantan Web site for her drama that was still airing then.

We've reached the end and will be leaving everyone off with a terrific new and huge spread. Minami has been a model with the Maquia site for many years now but rarely has more than a page or two in their issues. That's all changed with their June edition as she's also the cover girl and that fourth pic is my fave, whewwww! After the pics check out the video that has the final episode of her "Hirukyun" show from March 29th, granted it's not that exciting but I enjoyed it.
