Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Ayako Kato: Her very early 'Happy 34th Birthday' post #1(?)....

Wow, 34 years old! There aren't many I post about who are older but then again there are very, very few(any?) that are more attractive than Ayako. Perhaps one Korean actress but that could be it, think in every post with her have said that she's my #1 Japanese woman and how I wish she could have so many more posts.
Ayako is such a busy gal but so many of her activities may not make for interesting posts. To me they do though, I don't mind watching videos of her announcing but to many can understand why they might not be your cup of team. Ayako is what's known as a 'free announcer' as she's one for many networks doing the news, events, variety shows and whatever else you can think of. The title says 'early happy birthday' as she won't be celebrating it until April 23rd. But was planning on doing a post for regardless, think I can squeeze in another post around the 23rd.

Have a little bit of many things for today though mainly event pics as Ayako appears at so many of them, sometimes promoting a product but also often being an MC. There's only two activities I wish Ayako would do more of, one is appearing in more mags and also wish she furthered her acting career. But then again she's always so busy it must be hard to find time though she does such as being a model for some fashion sites. She's done that gig for many over the years and have posted many of the pics but hadn't had these before which are two years old from the Baila site. Most pics for today are older ones but almost all are new for here.

Have posted this set before but sure 98% of you readers missed it as Ayako's posts don't draw a mega amount of views though a healthy amount. There is one older spread which I'll have in her next post, this fabulous set is from the November 28, 2016 issue of Big Comic Spirits.

Though Ayako is a 'free announcer' she did start as newscaster on the 'Live News IT!' which began on April 1st, some pics from two mini events promoting the show that airs on Fuji-TV.

Sure many would prefer to view skimpy gravure or Idol pics but to me these for today beat 100%, you probably wouldn't think that with the kind of posts I usually do. But Ayako on occasion does rise the heartbeat of many male viewers such as these pics from a 2015 event, my imagination runs wild...

From what I understand Ayako is also a fairly good English language speaker, she did a passable job in this SNS show from March 14th.... would be willing to teach her better!!!!

Will make this the final tidbit for today. Do have other things but sometimes I make posts too big which means there's some long gaps between them and need to stop doing that. So perhaps will have two more posts for Ayako's birthday and won't be stopping there, hopefully she's gained a few fans today and it's worth checking out her older posts.
As mentioned Ayako appears at so many events, am holding back two of them and this final batch contain some ultra perfect pics. The event took place on December 6, 2016 for Waterman. They're a French company which produces exquisite pens, at the event she somehow found time to write a short story with their pens and she does love the fine art of calligraphy. Found a terrific video of the event which you can view after the pics and guiltily recommend it.
