Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Tsubasa Honda: Few recent happenings....

Tsubasa is definitely someone you're going to see around here quite often. Or at least until she gets hitched, there's no rumors about any of that floating around but figured such a fabulous gal like her would get married before she's thirty, she'll be turning 27 on June 27. As far as actresses go bet Tsubasa had more posts then anyone else at the old blog the past 2-3 years, she rarely takes an extended break that lasts over a month. Wish others would follow the example she's set and with a new film coming out soon should be many more posts on the horizon.

Have mentioned it before and my thought hasn't changed, if I was ever stuck on a deserted island Tsubasa would be the one woman I'd want along for company. Tsubasa is such an excellent actress, most of her dramas and films up until 2016 are worth checking out. But her last few dramas have only been so-so, recapped the Yuube' drama that aired earlier this year, seemed like it was going to be such a quirky series but it was overly drab but had such great potential.
She's currently in the "Radiation House" drama which just has a few more episodes to go, for the first time she's playing a doctor in a series. "Aircraft Carrier Ibuki" is the title of her next film, it'll be coming out this Friday, will have a post for the premiere and hopefully other things. Am going to keep these posts a bit smaller than the ones were at Aitoda to squeeze more of them in but there will always be at least forty new pics. Tsubasa is no longer an exclusive model for Non-no which means she doesn't appear in their mags these days, they also had a lot of pics at their site. But she's now a model for More and these are some tremendous new pics from them.

Don't know if I had these pics in a previous post but there's only four so will have them again just in case they weren't. They're from a Real Sound interview for the "Radiation House" drama.

Just one semi mag spread for today, call it semi as it's from a website. it's for Bea's Up and there was an interview at the site for the upcoming film.

So far there haven't been many new pics but expect there to be soon. Those pics will be from Michael Kors/Vogue as Tsubasa was just appointed the Japanese ambassador for their brand. She was in NYC back in December for a show and on April 20th there was an event in Tokyo to announce her new position, will see if there's any new videos on YT for the brand.

Last up are pics of Tsubasa at a screening for the "Aircraft Carrier Ibuki" on April 22nd. It looks like a fairly cool action flick which takes place during a 24 hour stretch on a carrier, as usual it was based upon a manga. The event took place at the Tokyo International Forum, the film really has a solid cast. Couldn't find a new video for Vogue so after the event pics have the film's trailer.
