Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Han Ji-Min: Few current tidbits....

Not an overdue post this time around and don't think that'll be happening these days as I finally have enough time to devote to my fave Japanese and Korean actresses. Ji-Min may end up being the oldest woman I'll post about on a semi regular basis but as I and one other fan has said she knocks the socks off most gals a decade younger than she is. Age hasn't slowed down Ji-Min in the least as she had a drama start a day ago which is already her second one for this year. Just viewed four episodes of her first series but do plan on watching her current one and have more info on that. Gulp, hope she's not thinking that I was peeking but then again just may have been....

Whew, though that pic is so ultra superb it's just the tip of the iceberg as there's plenty more of them from an event that took place three weeks ago. Mentioned above that Ji-Min could be the oldest fave I try to have posts for on a regular basis, she'll be turning 37(!) in November but in all honesty think she looks much better than she did when she was 27. Everything for today is new meaning from this month but do have this older terrific spread from March which is from High Cut.

Plus a few new pics form Samsung as she has a new CM out for them, actually a couple.

Hopefully she has Nao on her speed dial.... "One Spring Night" is the title of Ji-Min's new drama which began on Wednesday night. I'm usually not a fan of the longer romance series but this one looks fairly good and it did start out well as I've viewed the first two shows. Her character's name is Jung-In who is going out with someone her own age yet there may be a budding romance with a much younger clerk who works at a pharmacy. May sound a bit drab but those first two shows were anything but that as I really enjoyed both of them. Will probably wait until the drama ends to view the entire series as it's hard for me to keep up with four shows a week. But do have some screenshots from those first two episodes, shows three and four aired tonight.

Have noticed over the years that Ji-Min at events dresses either so elegantly or quite conservative, have two examples of them today. Nothing wrong with the down to earth style as she still looks so alluring to me(and many others). On May 20th there was a press conference for the new drama which airs on MBC, next to her in some of the pics is her 'young flame' in the show.

Going to end off with some unbelievably dazzling pics which may be the best ones of the year. You don't need to be a gravure model or Idol to get Nao's blood boiling and Ji-Min certainly knows how to do that. On May 1st she was at the 55th 'Baeksang Arts Awards' show, once again she was bestowed with an honor as she won the Best Actress award for her role in the "Miss Baek" film.
It's not out yet on DVD so haven't viewed it but it looks to be an intense movie and one I'll definitely check out. The awards show was held at the CEOX in Seoul on May 1st and there's really no other superlatives to describe how Ji-Min looked at the event, WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! Wish it was longer but have a fabulous video from the show after the pics.

  1. Han Ji Min is like fine wine, as she gets better with age.

Miss Baek is on Viki if you have an account. I watched it earlier this year and it was an excellent film.

  2. Thanks for the comment as you're the first person to leave one. Takes a long while to get a blog off the ground but it's slowly getting there, have only been having new posts for eight days.
Don't have an account there and usually get my films from Avistaz. Just went there and they do have the film and hadn't searched for it before. It is subbed so will be grabbing it and hope to view it very soon.
