Marie isn't my current number one though wouldn't doubt if she takes that spot in the next year or two, just waiting for her to get a bit older. But she is #1 in one category and that's being the person I can rely on more than any other one when there's a slow stretch. Not many recent activities lately for many of my faves but think there may be quite a few posts this weekend. Did so many posts in April used up most of my 'rainy day' pics.
But seems as though I can always depend on Marie to come through for us when there's little else going on. What a busy gal she has been the past two years and even more so these days which pleases me to no end. She's still not hugely popular here yet but her fan base is growing and perhaps one day she'll have a post in the top ten most viewed ones. Not an overly big post but must have about fifty new pics though the next five are a bit special....
.... special as they're not of Marie. There was an event she attended today and have a few pics of her at it. But also there was a long time fave who is Erika Sawajiri, you wouldn't think so as she's only had ten posts. But I've liked her quite a bit for about a decade, she's a decent actress though admit she flopped badly in "Helter Skelter". Today's event was for a new drama and she's slowed down on them the past few years. But Erika looked so incredible at today's event had to have a few pics of her, going to be tough but will try to work on a post for her current happenings.
The drama is titled "The Great White Tower", it's a mini series that will be airing on TV Asahi from May 22nd to the 26th. Have a few pics of Marie from today's press conference but there weren't enough as the cast is fairly big and she doesn't have one of the major roles(I think). The event took place at the Roppogni Hills Arena in Tokyo, it does have one solid cast.
One reason I think there's going to be many posts for Marie in the future is because many mags or fashion sites have signed her up to be an exclusive model for them. Not positive but think the total is four of them since the beginning of March. One new place is Spur which is a mag but also has many pics at their site, these are from them and were just added this week.
Hopefully that also means Marie will appearing in many of their mags, spreads are one thing of her that there's a shortage of. She's also an exclusive model for Oggi, usually there's pics at their site but these are from their May issue.
The site that has the most new Marie pics is More, seems as though there's at least five new ones a week and these have been added to their site since her last post.
Last post had some pics from a Tiffany event that took place on April 17th, it was for a new store opening. After the event she had a mini interview with the Fashion Press site.
Final happening for today took place last Friday, May 3rd, which was the movie premiere of "Detective Pichaku". It's an anime film, in it she plays the major character of Lucy Stevens and it's Marie's second anime film this year where she's done a voice. Pics here are from the premiere which took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya and after the pics is a video of it.
