No special post but more of a heads up for drama fans or to be more accurate fans of this duo and know that both have many of them here. Actually Marie is just so-so popular though she's one of my bigger current faves but her last two posts have drawn many more views than usual. But when it comes to Rena not many women here can touch her popularity as I would have her no worse than being the second most popular gal of all time here.
It was a while in coming with the subs as this first season aired in the Summer of 2017. However they were just done recently but they had been on a FB page. Don't have an account but luckily a drama site now has them and I've been waiting for over a year to watch this show with subs. Glad someone did them but will say they're a bit subpar but have been editing them and it's a good thing there's only five episodes.
This was a show that aired after midnight but it must have been popular enough as last Summer there was a season two. In the show Rena plays Tsubame who is attending Kanto Maritime University though she dislikes the sea and ships. She had applied there as she thought her potential boyfriend would also be going to the school but he didn't pass the entrance exam.
Marie plays the character of Marin who is the complete opposite of Tsubame as she absolutely loves everything about the ocean and ships. Marin has been that way since she was a little girl, she's a real gung ho type of gal whose one dream is to become a sailor. That's it for now as I don't want to describe too many things about the drama quite yet. Do have a few Marie and Rena screenshots from the first two episodes here as a primer. Seemed to me the subs were a tad too small in the first show so adjusted them a bit for the second episode and hope they're not too big. Do have many more pics coming up after these screenshots.
One thing not to look forward to in the recaps are any swimsuit scenes though it's a bit refreshing seeing neither one dressed that way. Have posted a few of these pics before but not all that many, these are from July 2, 2017 and on that date there was a promo event for the drama. That was also the date the series began and it ran until July 30th.
Have watched the first two shows, would love to get the recaps done by Friday but odds are against that happening so Monday looks to be the safer bet. Plenty of pics here from the event featuring Marie and Rena who certainly couldn't get enough of saluting. If season one was subbed perhaps that'll bode well for the second one also being done, that too was just five episodes. After these pics check out a video of the event.
