Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Keyakizaka46: "Zankoku na Kankyakutachi" drama episode three recap

Start Date: May 17, 2017 on NTV, airs Thursdays at 1:00 am for ten episodes

Through every episode the only characters have been the 21 Keya members in the show. All will probably have an important moment at least once in this ten episode drama so will list all of the members who are starring in the series. These screenshots list all of the characters along with their student number, these are from the final credits while Keya's tune "Eccentric" was playing.

Thought that may make it easier for you to keep track off, can always change it in future posts such as have all 21 names written in order.
Have two more recaps today as the fourth episode is below this one. Still unsure whether this is a good series or not, it is kind of interesting though it really could use a jolt of energy or something horrific to happen. In a nutshell the 21 students at this unnamed high school are trapped there at the end of their school day. Not just trapped at the school but in their classroom as the doors have been locked and there's only one way out.
In the first two shows that way was to get 10,000 likes. There's a laptop in the room and the outside world is watching their every move. If a gal does some sort of activity which the audience gives 10,000 likes to they're allowed to leave the room. It took two full shows but all 21 of the students have been allowed to leave their classroom.

The gals may have been able to leave the room but not to freedom as their nightmare continues, now all 21 are in the school's music room. In this show all of the students are referred to by a number, above is #17 who is Yuzuki(Yurina), she and her best friend #14 Miko(Neru) were the last two to get enough likes and to leave the first room.
It seems as though getting likes will be the theme throughout this series but not always like it was in the first two episodes. This time the girls need to get 210,000 likes as a group which averages out to 10,000 a person. Before they could try as many activities as possible to get the likes, now each girl will only get one chance to get as many likes as possible and here are the 'rules'.

There's also a time limit which hadn't happened before, they have until midnight to get the likes and it's presently 8:00 pm. First person to make an attempt for the audience was #11 Rin(Yuuka) who was once a very accomplished pianist. At a recital attended by her relatives a few years prior she had bombed and many had left the performance, since then she hasn't played a note.
The audience wasn't too pleased with her either as she garnered only 8,500 likes. The students were in a music room but none really had much musical talent so once again they try some humorous routines. They take some pictures of famous musicians off the walls and try to think of some funny and witty puns for the viewers, wasn't a total bomb but well short of the average they needed.

They did receive a fair amount of likes but were still 83,000 short and there were only three gals left who hadn't done an act. Miko did a fairly good impression which gathered another 31,000 likes, following her was Yuzuki who flubbed doing a comedy routine at the piano and got just 825 likes. The total is now at 159,000+ when it was announced that the only student not to do anything was #7 Ikumi(Yui K.).
Like Rin she was also once very good at an instrument, her talent was playing the sax. At a school concert though years before she had been bullied, the other students had sabotaged her sax and she was unable to perform, since then she's never picked up the instrument. But Ikumi has to play as she's their last chance, the average needed from every student was 10,000 likes and she has to somehow get over 50,000!
Ikumi played well though not perfect but the total likes was increasing. Think many of the voters in the audience had felt sorry for her and that was one reason she was getting so many likes. The problem is the time is inching closer to midnight, she'll probably get enough likes but will it happen in two minutes? The narrator had come on then and said of course it will happen as there's seven more episodes.

As you can see in that above screenshot time has run out and the girls were just oh so close.... but wait!!!! The clock on the wall was a minute faster than the laptop and the amount of likes zoomed past 210,000, the girls were excited but what does exactly does getting the likes do for them?
It appears nothing at this point as once again the doors mysteriously unlock and the 21 gals make their way into the hallway. They stand there for a few moments debating what to do, some want to stay in the music room while others think leaving is their only chance for survival. Those are the questions hanging over their heads as the episode ends, remember a show is only 22 minutes long.

So far every character is likable but there's two that stand out to me. One is Neru as #14 Miko, she is just so cool, clam and collected while so many others are on the verge of panic. She also says often that is death just waiting around the corner for them?

So far have to admit I enjoyed the 'Tokuyama' drama much more but that's not saying this has been a bad watch. It is kind of interesting though wish the intensity would pick up a bit. it actually does in the next episode but still waiting for something drastic to happen, perhaps a death? Or maybe being locked up or tortured, needs something such as those to keep the viewers interested. Next post is the recap for the fourth episode and a few twists are thrown in for that show.
