Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Ended off the last recap saying we'd learn more about a possible relationship between Neru and Risa who to me is the most attractive member in the show. We actually don't know if there really is anything going on with the pair though at first with Neru's comment below we thought there was.

There definitely is some secret relationship with the pair, it kept getting hinted at but so far we don't know what it could be.... yet. That see you tonight comment refers to what Risa says after that, it's finally time to bury the dead body of Tokuyama. It's now the night of day four of this murder/mystery and the body is really starting to reek though no teachers have mentioned that fact yet.
The Keya girls have all assembled int he classroom, think the time is a bit after 8:00 pm. In case they get discovered their excuse is that they're all in the Constellation club and met up late at night to observe the stars from the school's roof. They needed the excuse as with Tokuyama's body in plain view a security guard walks in. They quickly convince him that they're waiting for their teacher, for some reason he believed them without noticing the body and left the classroom.

Just then Neru appears as she was late but did think enough to bring a shovel which no other gal did, after all they have to bury the body. This is when Nijiika confronts Neru about her relationship with Risa, she's kept quiet about it but is very suspicious of the pair who don't like her at all. Nijiika though keeps mum about it and it doesn't appear she thinks the duo had a part in the murder.
This is when the episode gets a tad strange and even a bit confusing for a few minutes. There are just four students currently in the classroom as the rest have gone to the roof pretending to view stars. Out of nowhere a mysterious man enters the room demanding to know where Tokuyama is. His dead body was actually still in the room and was hidden in the small nook in the room where the gals had left him until the time of his burial.

We never learn the man's name but he screams at the four girls to get out of the room, they were about to when Yurina enters the room. Yurina is the youngest member but will say it again that she's the coolest under pressure in this series, she manages to calm the guy down and pry some info out of him. Seems this man knows Tokuyama from the adult clubs he frequents and would like to give him some money if he can view his list.
The list could prove to be an important clue to the solution of Tokuyama's murder but the girls know nothing of it. Yurina had kept some of Tokuyama's personal items such as a train ticket and a novel, the man looked at them but was unable to find the list. Just then the security guard returns to the classroom and everyone ducks for cover, the girls in their lockers and the man in the nook where Tokuyama's dead body is.

The guard really isn't a guard and discovers where the man is hiding, just in time too as that mysterious man was about to discover Tokuyama's body. The guard is also looking for the list, when he finds out the man doesn't have it he pummels him and drags him out of the classroom. The five girls hidden in the locker have observed all of it but of course they can't go to the police.
The school is finally cleared and the remaining students come back from the roof. Now it's the time for Tokuyama's body to be buried and unlike all of the other occasions this time they're successful. In the final scene it's now the following morning and the girls are so exuberant about the body finally being buried. Yurina was curious about the guard and asked about him, the school's janitor told her that there is no night guard at the school. This really perked up her curiosity, she took another look at Tokuyama's novel and to her amazement she found some sort of list.

We'll know more about Yurina's discovery in the next episode as her finding the list only lasted for a few seconds. The list appears to be of names with yen amounts next to them, to her surprise she found the name of Yuuka on the list, she's the class representative! Think the list may have to do with call girls or something along those lines, positive we'll learn much more about the list in the upcoming shows as it could be a key to discovering the killer.
There are some lighthearted moments in the shows, they mainly were about all of the attempts the girls made in burying and hiding Tokuyama's body. But for the most part it's been a very serious drama and could take a turn to be a darker one with the discovery of the list. The show did end on one unexpected cliffhanger, won't discuss that now as who knows what it could be about. Will have the details on that and everything else that happens in the next two shows this weekend when the next pair of recaps should be done.
