Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Three out of the four shows have ended with a mini cliffhanger, episode two didn't so we'll start this recap with nothing hanging over from the previous show. One little bit of info I forgot to mention was the clock in the homeroom. It stopped at 8:02 am and it still hasn't been fixed or moved since that first episode. There was a twenty minute gap between 7:50 and 8:10 am that has been unaccounted for, the students think that perhaps the clock stopped at the time Tokuyama was stabbed.

That clock stopping unfortunately isn't much of a clue at this point yet for the students as they're really at a loss on who murdered Tokuyama. The killer has been toying with them as you can see in those above pics. His body has been hidden in Neru's locker, she's been truant for a very long time and we've only seen her once up until now. Someone during the night had moved Tokuyama's body to the next locker, how does the killer keep knowing every move the girls make?
What came as a huge shock to the students happened during their lunch break, we're now in day two of the mystery. A woman appeared in their classroom and they thought it was another student's mother who had brought their lunch. The woman was no mother of any of the students but instead was Tokuyama's wife of 25 years! The girls had no clue he was married, the wife's name was never mentioned so will call her Mrs. T.

Mrs. T brought a mini lunch of coriander and macarons. The main purpose of her visit wasn't to bring the girls food but was to find out what has happened to her husband. The girls figured he had only been missing for over a day but according to Tokuyama's wife he hasn't been at home for a month. Mrs. T thinks that perhaps he's been having an affair(s) which is true but not with a student which is what his wife is thinking.
This was a bit of a long scene, no idea if we'll be seeing her in future episodes but would think so. The wife's name in real life is Eri Fuse and she is one of the funniest actresses around. Back to the story and Mrs. T tells the girls she'll give them ten minutes to tell her who her husband is fooling around with or she'll go to the police. She was also standing next to the locker her husband is hidden in, first few episodes the door kept popping open but never when someone is next to it.

The girls quickly device a plan to throw her off the scent of Tokuyama. They get Miyu to take a picture with the dead Takuyama, the girls think if they confess to a sin Mrs. T will leave. That's exactly what happened, Miyu said she was with her teacher a few times and nothing happened. The wife seemed to buy the story and the girls thought she would leave.
But Mrs. T still thinks that her husband is hiding in the classroom, actually her thought is the correct one as she thinks he's in the locker he's really hidden in. Mrs. T had brought some gasoline(!) with her, she drenched the locker with it and was prepared to light it on fire. Once again the girls squeeze out of a jam as Yurina was able to persuade Mrs. T that her husband wasn't there. Have to start wondering how many close calls are the Keya gals going to have before the body is finally found.

This episode seemed shorter even though it was the same 25 minute length as the other shows. No doubt it was because of the scene with Tokuyama's wife which took up the final 15 minutes. This was still a solid episode but wish that scene was five minutes shorter to have a few other events happen, that took us up to the ending credits.
After the credits though there's always a short 40-60 second scene which usually sets us up for the next show. It's night and all of the students have gone home but there's someone creeping around the classroom. That person opens up the locker Tokuyama is hidden in and then we see the person is....

.... the truant student Neru!!!! Many of the girls think she's the killer but normally we don't learn about that until later in a series. The questions are why is she there and more importantly how did she know Tokuyama was hidden in her locker?
Those mysteries remain unanswered in the next episode but then again she easily could have something to do with the murder, she's eating a macaron that Mrs. T had brought the girls for lunch. Still many questions that are unanswered but even more so after the next episode, you can read the recap for that in the next post.
