Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Jin Se-Yun(Yeon): The "High End Crush" drama primer....

Realize I've made too many mistakes in life to count but think my biggest one by far(in an odd way) was discovering Se-Yun!!!! Forget what I've said in the past about who has been the most beautiful or alluring woman ever to me, have come to the realization that no female to date in history has topped her. Sure not many, if any, feel that way but had the inkling in her first post and that first thought was 100% accurate.
Have another inkling which is that there will be oceans of Se-Yun posts coming up in the near future, there are so many things I can post about her. Sure she does have a half dozen or so fans here who will be pleased with that while thousands of others are running for the exits. Let's get to the main gist of this post but first a few pics I will never and I mean never get tired of....

This drama first came out at the end of 2015 but it did have a re-airing and will get into that as the post goes on. But what I noticed about that stretch of time, say from September 2015 to April of the following year, is that no actress in the world appeared at more events. In that seven month period bet Se-Yun appeared at 25 events or more, it's mind boggling how many she was at. So that means you'll be seeing 2-3 of them in every future post and no need to tell you how fabulous she looked at all of them. These were from October 2015 and at first thought they were events for the drama.

"High End Crush" first aired back in 2015, it's start date was November 14th. It was a joint China-Korean production and it aired on a cable network in both countries, not sure why as there are no Chinese characters in the show. Originally the drama consisted of twenty episodes at fifteen minutes each and aired until January 17, 2016.
But for some reason it remained a fave of many and it re-aired again in 2018 from April 4th to the 25th. This time around the shows were combined to make five episodes of an hour each. The second time around it aired on MBN and once again it was popular as many fans seem to be clamoring for another season. There are promo pics from the first time around.

So far have watched the first two episodes and really enjoyed both of them. So much that I watched those two shows back to back which is such a rarity for me. In the drama Se-Yun plays the character of Yi-Ryung who was a 24 year old living by herself on a remote mountain. She rarely traveled away from home but one day found herself in Seoul and witnessed what she though was a kidnapping.
It wasn't but Yi-Ryung is very naive about the ways of the world, it was actually a K-Pop Idol trying to flee her manager. Won't give away too many spoilers but before long she had been scouted to be an Idol by a wealthy yet arrogant CEO of an entertainment company. Here's a few screenshots from the first two episodes and all I can say is.... wowowowowowowow......

However there was a short scene in the first episode which will make the whole series worth a view, that wowowowowowowowowow above gets doubled with these pics....

Whew, hard to top those Se-Yun pics and won't even try. As mentioned the second time around the drama began on April 4th though there was no kind of event for it. We can excuse Se-Yun for that as the previous week she was at the 'Seoul Fashion Week' and looked utterly flawless, did a post for it back in January which may be one of the top ones of the year and definitely needs to be viewed.

Am planning on recapping all five hour shows, though I've already viewed the first two probably won't have any posts until the weekend. Will recap those first two episodes and then the following weekend will have the last three, all we be in order and so far this is such fun drama.
Last item for today took place on December 4, 2015 in Beijing. As mentioned it was production between China, where it aired on Sohu, and Korea where it aired on Naver. Se-Yun and the two main male stars traveled to the city to promote the show, the event was held outdoors so she didn't dress too causally but still looked like many tens of trillion wons. Have a few pics here from the event and after them is a behind the scenes promo video for the show.
