Not sure if the title is accurate enough, for now will keep it that way as Hiragana does deserve to be in the title. The eleven members, the ones you see above, are the stars of this drama and there will be no Kanji members making an appearance. Glad for that as I'll bet not many of us know these members well enough and after viewing four episodes they're really likable gals. Here's the cast and will keep the beginning like this for a while, they all go by their real first names in the show.
This is the order of the members in the opening credits, also the order they all woke up in.... you'll learn about that right off the bat. As a bonus also have the member's birthdates included with most members are being older than I had thought.

Above are the regular eleven Hiragana members but there needed to be a twelfth person. That ended up being a new second generation gal and her name is Miho Watanabe. There were auditions for the role and she came out on top. She never made an appearance until the sixth episode and even after that we only saw her sporadically, her DOB is February 24, 2000.
Figure there's two more shows to go and it'd be hard for the series to go past twelve episodes as most of the cast above has disappeared. So far we've had no clue on what their outcomes may have been, I'm kind of thinking all are still alive and trapped in a different room. Started with eleven students and we're now down to five entering the ninth episode, the remaining girls are Ayaka, Kumi, Kyoko, Memi and Mirei.
That number of five will soon whittle down even further, usually one student disappears each show but between these two episodes three are no longer with us. Mirei more than any other of the eleven has been trying to figure out why they're trapped in this mysterious room and has had many theories with none of them being accurate or at least they've haven't been proven that way yet.
It quickly died out but as you can see above Mirei really thought there was a connection between Miho and Hemingway. Both of their fathers were very respected doctors and both ended up taking their own life but we're not 100% certain that's happened to Miho as it's mainly the word of Shiho who is no longer around. Hemingway wrote a book titled "Everything Reminds You Of Something" and according to their departed teacher Hayashi that book refers to everything in the room.
There's quite a few medical books and instruments which starts to lead Mirei to believe that Miho's father is a part of their being held captive. But what these clues are supposed to lead the girls to is unknown, as Mirei seemingly wants to find out why they're in the room Kyoko seems hell bent on just looking for a way to escape with Kyoko becoming quite skeptical of Mirei's true intentions.
With her performance Kyoko hands down wins Nao's first 'Best acting job in a drama by an Idol' award!!!! Not by much though as Memi at he end of the tenth episode gave a riveting performance plus who can forget Rika in the final episode of 'Tokuyama'? Most of these two shows were about the girls discussing why they're being held prisoner and it ended up being that way through Mirei's efforts. Kyoko is really having a problem with that as Mirei keeps pressuring a student to open up about their relationship with Miho, once they reveal their secrets the girl gets sucked into the floor.
Miho's father is Shichiro Watanabe, he's an esteemed congressman and also the director of the local hospital which is very prestigious. Should say he's an ex-director as it appears he had to resign as there are some scandals surrounding him such as bribes, a malpractice suit and possibly dating teenage girls. But now besides the secrets coming out about Miho they also start being revealed for her father and seems a few in the room have a connection to him.
As you may know if you read the previous recaps the twelve girls were members of the 'Pure White' group who also had a website called 'White Justice'. However that site was closed down about nine months prior but unknown to the other nine members the site kept going with it being headed by Miho who recruited Ayaka and Kyoko.
Instead of looking to improve their neighborhoods the site changed it's intentions as it began to target older men who were preying on high school girls. You can see that from the above two screenshots as when they were caught the girls gave out punishments but it really wasn't that. In reality it was more of a scheme to blackmail the older men as they were pawns in a game run by Ayaka and Kyoko. But Kyoko claimed they quit doing those tactics and also had withdrawn from the 'Pure White' club once Miho was confined to a wheelchair.
Unknown to her though Ayaka continued on with the blackmailing and had built up quite a roll of money but she claimed she's recently ceased doing those acts. Hearing that from Ayaka shocked Kyoko to no end as the pair are so close and seemingly had no secrets. Ayaka broke down in tears and said she continued swindling men as she wanted to get enough money so her and Kyoko could live together after graduating.
This is where it gets a bit interesting, Memi then claimed she knows how Miho was able to recruit the pair to rejoin 'Pure White'. That's because the the two were quite in love with each other and Miho would have revealed their relationship if they didn't join the club again. Neither Ayaka or Kyoko were able to respond to the accusation which was the truth, Memi said the two of them had to be blind to their surroundings as the whole school knew about the affections they had each other.
Ayaka had posted a picture to their site that had her with an older man going to a love hotel, she had also alerted the tabloids about it. She never did arrive at the hotel with the man as he was actually a nice guy who instead bought Ayaka a dinner and gave her money so she wouldn't have to continue with her scandalous actions. That man turned out to be Miho's father, that picture was the beginning of his downfall which was undeserved as he was totally innocent of any wrong doings.
Miho wasn't too close with her father but he was making attempts to close that gap, he had met Ayaka at a party so he could learn more on how to get to know his daughter better. Ayaka didn't know who the man was at first, she would have never gone through with her plans if she knew it was Miho's father but it's too late now as his life may be in tatters.
Ayaka tried apologizing but it was to no avail, could her actions that night be what's most responsible for them now being held captive? Ayaka never learned the answer as water started to seep up through her shackles, Kyoko held on to her hand with all her might as the lights went out. Naturally when they came back on there was one more girl gone which leaves us with four. For being such a tough gal Kyoko also has a soft side and is totally despondent over losing the love of her life.
After hearing of winning Nao's award Kyoko wanted to make sure no other Idol could take it away from her, think she convinced me with how she was after losing her soulmate Ayaka. Kyoko went on for a while telling the remaining three about their relationship and how Ayaka was really the only student to think of her a cute girl and not as a Yanki. But what Kyoko was more than anything else was furious and that fury was directed at Mirei.
Kyoko is certain Mirei has a hand in their being held hostage, especially with her making the other students reveal their dark secrets about Miho with the result being they disappear. That ranting went on for a while though not long enough to get any info out of Mirei and the spat came to a conclusion as an event happened which usually only takes place at the end of the show. Once again the lights go out and when they get switched back on we're down to three students.
It's now the seven minute mark of the tenth episode, gone is Kyoko and her disappearing makes Nao want to cease viewing the drama!!!! But as a trooper I continued but the show really isn't the same without Kyoko. Actually the show went downhill just a tad as it's not as interesting with only three students, perhaps eleven was too many but seems when there were around seven was when the show was at it's best.
Mirei is certain the deer head has a camera in it's eye which was why their teacher Hayashi was trying to tear it down before he was sucked into the floor. Of course the girls are being monitored, how else would the person(s) know when another girl needs to disappear plus they need to hear all of the secrets the girls know about Miho and her father. Was just thinking that once a girl has revealed all that she knows she's no longer needed in the room, perhaps that's why they disappear?
Getting closer to the end as most of the final ten minutes were of the trio arguing and saying what they knew about Miho and her father. Memi picked up where Kyoko had left off and was accusing Mirei nonstop of being a part of the team that is holding them hostage. Of course Mirei keeps denying the charges and Kumi seems to be siding with Mirei at this point. The room has been getting quite hot for a while, first Kyoko had to take off her sweater and now Memi is looking like she came in from the rain.
There was a rumor going around that Miho's father had an illegitimate child and in the final few minutes was the first we heard of it. Now that it was brought into the open Memi jumped on it and feels that the child, who is a girl, has had a hand in their capture. What Memi now accuses Mirei of being is Miho's sister who is now taking revenge for her suicide.
The rising heat has seemed to make Memi go a bit haywire as she starts rambling endlessly about everything under the sun, she did confess she was the one who started the bullying of Miho. She can't stop harassing Mirei and dares her to make her disappear as Memi's life to her has no point of continuing. Don't know if Mirei had any part in it, personally don't think so but soon after the dare the lights once again go out. When they get turned back on we're now down to a pair of students as Memi has disappeared to wherever and at that point is where the tenth episode ends. Think it is true that Miho's sister had been in the girl's class but to me the girl would be Kumi.
We'll see if that prediction is correct on who the sister is and will have that recap in exactly two weeks if there are two shows left. Kind of thinking we'll also be seeing the other nine girls who have disappeared from the room, to be honest have no clue how this series will be ending. Plenty of screenshots here and as mentioned before they do make it easier to follow the story.
