Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Erika Toda: Somehow even more news from everyone's mega fave!!!!

Not sure if 'everyone's mega fave' is accurate these days as Erika's posts get a third of what Nogi's do. But she is an eternal fave of mine and know that many other viewers really like Erika so, so much. This has to be her seventh post of the year for new happenings, the pace will slow down very soon but I've been enjoying doing them as it's been years since she's been this busy.

The huge slowdown which will be happening shortly is because Erika is about to start filming her new asadora which means morning drama, more info on that at the bottom. Not a lot of new happenings but there are quite a few new pics for today. Have a pair of new mag spreads though this first one from the April issue of Baila deserved to be much larger.

Why they'd even bother with two pages?! Erika is looking so fabulous these days, best she's looked in years to me. How about a comparison then, sure most enjoy her older pics such as this mag spread from exactly ten years ago from the May 4, 2009 issue of WPB which is one of her best.

But as I said these days Erika is looking so spectacular, know the above pics rate an A+ but these may be better which are from the May issue of Elle and the bottom one is from the photo shoot.

On April 3rd Erika was in Koka city in Shiga prefecture which is a bit west of Osaka, Erika hails from Kyoto which isn't all that far away. The event was because her "Scarlet" drama will be filming there and it took place at it's City Hall, the man in the pics is the mayor.

The following day she was joined by the elusive Yuko in the city and the pair were rehearsing some of the show's scenes but it was more of a publicity event.

Said elusive for Yuko as she's one of my all time faves yet it's been almost 22 months since her last post. Won't go into details here but would love to see her back full time and will try to do some sort of post for her soon. Besides that above action she joined Erika doing a mini promo event in Koka city and think the entire "Scarlet" asadora will be filmed there.
The pair do look a bit old fashioned but the series takes place from the late 1940's up until the mid sixties. Looking forward to the show but it's not beginning until September 30th, six fifteen minute episodes run Monday through Saturday at 8:00 am on NHK. Plenty of super duper pics with the pair and kind of like the pony tail, has she ever had that style in another drama? Can't believe there's no videos for either event so have a CM that came out three weeks ago for Daiki life insurance which features a short behind the scenes segment.
