Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Erika Toda: "Ano Hi no Orugan" film event pics plus a pair of new mag spreads....

After being #1 by a mile for most posts Erika was eclipsed by a trio of Nogi members which dropped her to fourth though she was still number one for actresses. However there's been a bit of a comeback this past year as she's now back in the third position, now if she had been in an Idol group she would easily have twice as many posts as any other fave.
This is the second Erika post in ten days and for her horde of fans there will be another one in three days or least there should be. The "Ano Hi no Organu" film will have it's premiere this Friday, should be an event for it but it may not be until Saturday. Also am hoping for at least one more Erika post for March as the 'Code Blue' movie is coming out on DVD at the end of the month. Plus she has another film coming out in June so this is shaping up to be one of her busier years in a while.

That's a new pic from the Cinema Today site but sadly all of the other pics were too teeny. Not too many happenings for this post but all of the pics are guaranteed to be perfect or your money back. Will never say that Erika has never looked anything but magnificent but there was a stretch from 2014-16 where she didn't look as good, she had really become too thin.
These days she's back to setting an example for how women should look, at one time she was very popular here but don't know if that's still the case(?). Erika has been appearing in many more mags recently though my complaint is that the spreads are usually too small. Such is the case for this first set which is from the April issue of Harper's Bazaar, she's thirty now and will be 31 in August.

Much bigger spread here plus the pics are beyond ideal, a pic doesn't have to be a gravure one to be perfect. This set is from volume 59 of Omosan Street.

Erika has the lead role in the "Ano Hi no Organu" film which was set towards the end of WWII. May have posted these before which are some promo stills for the movie.

Surprised there was an event yesterday for the film seeing as how it's coming out on Friday. The event was an answer and question session for "Ano Hi no Organu" which featured Erika and the director. Also in attendance was the film's co-star Sakurako Ohara who is someone I like a lot, she does have some really decent rock tunes but is also an actress. May have to have a post for her soon as she's also done many interviews for the movie. This event was held at the Tokyo Nihon University of Art on the 19th, it doesn't appear to be a film that will be appealing to the masses but you never know. Plenty of superb pics from the event followed by a video of it.
