Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Yuki Kashiwagi: "Tagarin" drama, episode's seven to nine recap

Air Dates: April 13 to June 22, 2013 on Fuji-TV, eleven episodes that only ran for a total of 56 minutes. Link to the Rakuten site which has them on video though not subbed:

 Main Cast:

Yuki Kashiwagi as Ejima Chihiro.... new traffic cop at the North Kaizuka police department and has been assigned to investigate cases the chief doesn't want to make public

Yu Sawabe as Minoru Otagawa.... Detective and Ejima's bumbling immediate superior who works on the case with her. Keya fans should know him from co-hosting the 'Keyakitte' show

Kinako Kobayashi as Maki Kadomatsu... traffic cop who is Ejima's Senpai

Ikkei Watanabe as Hiromi Kuribayashi.... inept assistant professor

Few others in the cast but very difficult to find out info as there's no Wiki page plus the Fuji site has been taken down.

Let's get right to the mini recap and in all honesty seems like I could have squeezed the eleven episodes into two posts. Ejima is still overly concerned with the 'curse' she thinks that was received from watching the DVD, so much she brought her mates to a local university to talk with a professor who was an expert in such matters. Unfortunately he wasn't present but his mentor was whose name was Kuribayashi, he's in the top screenshot. That was a complete waste of time for Ejima and her team as he was a useless person to talk to and as she said, 'are you really a scientist?'.
But odd things did keep happening to Ejima such as a fire starting at her apartment plus being in her police car when the brakes stopped working. But on the other hand she could look at all of the incidents in a positive light as nothing remotely serious has happened to her. But the main plot still has to do with finding the killer of the 17 year old student Mai Nakanishi, that is if there is a killer and she didn't jump off her school's roof by her own accord.
Ejima had set it up where she announced some evidence would be left in her next at Police HQ. That was a leaflet which was the main reason for there being a fire in her apartment. Who should show up one night but to grab it which is the man in the bottom screenshot, Kinoshita. He's made a few appearances in the shows and is a detective at Ejima's station. Haven't talked about him as his role wasn't important but he was the one who gave Ejima the leaflet from a restaurant and for some reason wanted it back though he was 100% innocent of anything to do with Mai's death. Kinoshota had been a thorn in Ejima's side as he's had such a crush on her though she wanted nothing to do with him. The man was constantly giving her presents and such which she would refuse, least with this incident Ejima could tell him to leave her alone once and for all.

With that out of the way Ejima knows it's time to start working harder on Mai's death, she and her team were at a standstill so she suggested visiting the elite high school again for clues. But before that could happen her supervisor detective Otagawea received a call stating one of Mai's friends had thrown herself off a school roof too but luckily landed in some bushes so had only minor injuries. The girl's name was Ami and for a few episodes had been trying to get in touch with Otagawa as Ami felt she had some very important evidence, she did but something always prevented the two meeting.
At first Ejima, her mates and Ami's friends thought it was the 'curse again' as Ami had a copy of the DVD in her bag. but upon checking the bag out Otagawa found her phone and on it was the key evidence Ami had wanted to show him. It was a pic of Mai and their teacher Okada lying in bed together. That teacher had been interviewed a few shows back but at the time it seemed he had an iron clad alibi. Not with that pic once Otagawa saw it and that happened in the final few seconds which means what the teacher's fate will be has to wait until the next post which is the final one.
