Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

'Top Ten Faves' countdown for 2019.... #5, Hinako Sakurai

Finally hit the top five and now we're really into my mega faves for 2019 though #6 should be included if we're talking mega faves. Think most viewers are pleased enough with the selections to date, did have one comment about how a person should have been higher but that's been it. Actually just thought that I rarely get any negative comments so would like to thank everyone for that, I try to keep things positive here.
So this is the 16th person I've posted about, have a feeling everyone has liked my faves but not sure many were happy with #19. That's okay as if we all did a list bet none of ours would come anywhere near close to the next person's. If there was another so-so selection in the minds of others it would be this person who has become such a humongous fave of mine. Not going to say Hinako is unpopular but her posts don't garner all that many views but then again very few do get as many as Nogi posts. But bet Hinako does have a core of fans here and her post views have gradually risen, if you're a fan you'll enjoy this post as it's one of the best to date.

Heh heh, oh well the exercise will do her well! For some of these posts have been adding in a very brief drama recap as it's killing two birds with one you-know-what. Up next for recaps is the "Janus no Kagami" series which is eight episodes, will be starting to watch it full time after I view the next two episodes of 'Kamen Rider Zero-One". Hinako has the lead role in this drama but not just one character as she actually plays two in the show.
Won't give away too many spoilers yet but the main character she plays is Hiromi Ozawa who is a seventeen year old high school student though in real life her age is 22. She lives at home with her very cruel grandmother who beats her endlessly and even locks Hiromi up in as shed. Seems her mother is deceased and in her grandmother's eyes Hiromi can do no right, especially when one day a boy student called up which led her to be locked in the shed.
Hiromi is a very timid girl but just by day as at night she turns into her alter ego Yumi who is the complete opposite. Hiromi knows nothing about her 'transforming' at night but often wakes up with cuts and bruises which leave her so confused. In the title Kagami means mirror which plays a key part in her transformation. Have some screenshots from the first two shows and what a dark drama it is, will be starting on the regular recaps once this top twenty series is done. Think what I'll do is two batches of four recaps but then again may combine two shows into one post.

Have done about ten Hinako posts since August but still think there should be plenty of things to post about. I honestly had some very serious thoughts about putting her in the top position as that's how much I like her, had she been a little busier the first half of the year bet she would have been number one for the year and wouldn't that have shocked most viewers? Hinako has a Line blog which she does a good job at updating it, some pics from the past few weeks.

Hinako had the lead role in her last film "He Won't Kill, She Won't Die" that came out on November 15th and have had many pics in her previous posts so won't have any for today. Really hoping she won't take an extended break now as she was very busy for the second half of the year, for now there's no dramas or films for 2020. Do have many new pics though not a huge amount so thought I'd have a golden oldies that have never been posted before. Which is this huge set from the Soccer King site that came out in July 2017 when she was twenty in age.

SPA! magazine often features many actresses but can't think of the last time one had more than three pages. That's a shame as their pics are usually good and for the mag's November 19th edition Hinako had only two pages, grrrr!

Do have a pair of older mag spreads that have never been posted but want to save them for future posts. Back in October Hinako released her 2020 calendar and did have a post for it, these are some of the pics from it.

Have some brand new A+ pics of Hinako as on November 20th she was at the 'White Kitte' tree lighting ceremony. This year's theme was 'How to spend Christmas with a Lover' and didn't hear her mention my name, sigh.... The tree is located in the Marunouchi section of Tokyo and it'll be lit until Christmas day.

Will be ending off with this batch of pics which are the best ones of the day. They're from an event earlier this year and had never seen these pics until an hour ago and how did I miss something about her? On April 3rd Hinako attended a 'Fendi Craft' exhibition, the day before was her 22nd birthday and it's the first time I can recall her being at an event like this. She's anything but a glamorous gal which is one of the main reasons she's become such a huge fave. Fendi is a luxury brand of Italian clothing which she wore a the event and did she make my blood boil, whew! Plenty of ultra superb pics from the event and following them is a video from it. Should be a post for the fourth position tomorrow and then Wednesday will have the post for #3.
