Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

'Top Ten Faves' countdown for 2019.... #4, Marie Iitoyo

Really zipping through the countdown much quicker than I expected. Was hoping to have it done by the end of the year and at this pace will have at least one week to spare. As I've mentioned a few times there was no yearly list for 2018 as instead there was an 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list. But did have in my mind an idea of who the top seven or so would have been and Marie was one of them. Would have had slotted her into the third position for 2018 and at the beginning of this year she was my silent prediction of being 2019's number one.
Obviously that didn't happen but wasn't too far off as there's nothing wrong with being in the fourth spot. Marie had been my #1 up until September and then was eclipsed by a trio. The major reason is I've become just a tad bored with her pics as she's really been bringing conservatism to a new level. She still looks as fabulous as ever but Marie's mag spreads and the way she appears at events has just become too conservative. Don't understand why as she's still a young woman who won't be turning 22 for another three weeks. Not saying she has to start doing gravure spreads again but wish she would stop dressing as a fifty year old would though she still looks tremendous. Hope that didn't sound too negative as that wasn't the plan as she still did finish in fourth place but just feel she could look so much better or perhaps alluring is what I'm hoping for.

Marie has had more posts than anyone this year, 24 solo ones in this vein which is four more than the second place person. But don't think she has the most pics overall as her posts tend to be smaller at about forty pics while many other gals may average 60-70 in their posts. But do have a lot of new things for today which total over fifty plus have a few golden oldies. Marie just starred in her second stage play that began on November 13th and it was called "Shooting Star". Pics here are for an interview she did for the play with the Spice EPlus site.

On that November 13th date she was visited by an old chum of hers....

Marie's appearances in mag spreads have really dwindled this year which is a mystery as her modeling pics have really increased. There's three sites she's been a long time model for and one of them is Suzunoya kimonos, these new pics came out last week for their 2021 collection. That may seem like an odd year but the kimonos are for 'coming of age' ceremonies.

Have a whole bunch of modeling pics today and actually most of the time they do look quite good, it's the way she dresses in mags or events that are really too conservative. Superb pics here are also brand new from the More site.

Marie's best pics are usually from the Oggi site though she rarely appears in their mags.

This next batch of Marie pics may be the best new ones of the day. They're from the site 'Yuri Hanamori' which is one I had never heard of but the pics are supreme, there's a few more there if you want to check them out or anything else they may have: Yuri Hanamori

Marie is a huge anime fan and especially of the 'Pokemon' series. She's been a voice in at least one anime movie along with doing some for the TV shows. On November 15th she was at a screening for the next TV series which is called "Pocket Monster Sword Shield" and the event took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Roppogni Hills. The new series began two days later but she doesn't do a voice in the new show but instead was there as it's 'Official Ambassador'.

Oooop, didn't publish this yet but was about to. No new mag spreads for today so thought I'd have a couple of older ones that were promoting her first and only photobook "No Gazpacho" that came out on her 20th birthday. Have five pics each from the February 2, 2018 issue of Friday and the February 3rd edition of Shukan Gendai. Marie has said she doesn't do gravure spreads as she doesn't have the figure of one of those kinds of models but I disagree as she looks so magnificent, that bottom pic is beyond perfect.

Marie does have a new role coming up and think it'll be her biggest one to date as she has the lead role. Have seen her in four dramas plus a film and have always thought she was a decent actress, all of them have been serious roles but not as intense as her next project. That'll be the horror film "Stare" which comes out on January 10th, five days after her birthday. Should be a few more events and also hoping for a few new mag spreads. A special preview was held on December 12th at the Shinjuku Piccadilly, am trying to work on a post for her female co-star. Plenty of pics from the event to end the post off with but though there's some videos of both events will skip them, post them often but know they can be a bit boring to watch. So have a shorter CM which are always easy to view and it's a very popular one from 2016 for Pop Zack.
