Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Jin Se-Yun(Yeon): An extremely overdue post....

I do enjoy all of the posts that are done which makes sense as if that wasn't the case they wouldn't be done. But do get a bit more excited when I can have posts for my bigger fave Korean actresses and am fairly sure there's going to be many posts coming up. Know most would prefer Idol or gravure posts but think there's a core of Korean drama fans who visit here and sadly haven't been doing enough posts in that genre but if you are a fan expect many more posts for actresses and dramas.
One of my more massive faves is Se-Yun which can also be spelled Yeon. This is her first post in almost ten months but could have had one in December. She did take a long break from May to November but think during that period she was filming much of her latest drama which is still airing. Good thing I did wait a month as it's meant a few new pics, on February 15th Se-Yun will be turning 26 so will work to have a fabulous post around that date. To me she's one of the most gorgeous women in the world and had she more posts could see her being in my top ten of all time.

Had been doing posts for Se-Yun's older activities as I didn't start posting about her until 2018. Stopped doing them but for that birthday post sure there's many oldies to share as I don't expect many new pics between now and February 15th. Also don't think there was too much happening in that long stretch between posts but will double check on that, have about seventy or so new pics for today and am holding none back. Se-Yun was in one mag spread during that time and it's a terrific set of pics from the July edition of Piikle. Actually the spread was only six pages but there's plenty of bonus ones from the photo shoot which are better than the spread.

Have a few more bonus pics for her next post so actually am holding a few things back. Se-Jun's current drama is titled "Selection: The War Between Women" but it's also known as "Queen: Love and War". It's airing on the TV Chosun cable channel and it began on December 14th. On January 14th there was a press conference and 'thank you viewers' event held at the Chosun Iibo Museum in Seoul. Reason for the thank you was because the series has been getting some solid ratings with a high of 6.2% which is quite impressive for a cable drama. Se-Yun usually looks tremendous at events, she did at this one though was dressed much more conservatively but perhaps because it's Winter.

It's an historical drama and tend to shy away from them, not because they're not good for they are but usually the series are too long. This is Se-Yun's third historical drama and she does look dazzling in her own way dressed as they did centuries ago. Se-Yun plays the main character of Eun-Bo whose twin sister became married to the King but the pair along with their entourage were ambushed and murdered one day.
Eun-Bo is determined to find out who the killers were and tried to get the bullet that killed the King for evidence. As she touched his still body he awoke for a second but it's sent his memories to
Eun-Bo who is watching the events of when her sister got married and the incidents leading up to her death. In real time a new King must be named and it appears as some low life vagrant will be selected, will somehow Eun-Bo become engaged to the man? That's a brief look at what took place in the first show and won't be recapping the series though may have short looks at the drama in her posts, these screenshots are from the first episode and really did enjoy it. The show is a serious one but then again was lighthearted at moments.

Will end off with a much better batch of Se-Yun event pics but there's no such thing as one of her pics being less than tremendous. On December 11th there was a promo event for the drama that was also held at the Chosun Iibo Museum in Seoul. Was thinking that Se-Yun was looking a bit thinner but she always looks that way and there's nothing wrong with that as to me she's the best looking Korean actress around these days and perhaps I may mean of all time. There's plenty of YT videos for the drama if you're interested in the show, won't have any of them for today but instead will have a video for this event which is worth a view.
