"Janus no Kagami" drama: Episode three recap

 Air Dates: This series aired twice, first on the FOD network Fridays at midnight from August 16th until October 4th, then Mondays at 12:55 am on Fuji-TV from October 21st until December 9th.

Hinako Sakurai as Hiromo Ozawa.... meek 17 year old student who lives with her grandmother....

and also as Yumi who is her split personality and the complete opposite of Hiromi

Jin Shirasu as Kenichi Shindo.... president of the high school student council

Akihisa Shiono as Tatsuya Tsutsumi.... mysterious young man who befriends Yumi

Sayuri Kokusho as Takako Ozawa.... Hiromi's very strict and violent grandmother

 At one time think there may have been ten or so blogs which reviewed Japanese dramas but seems these days the number has dwindled to two others besides myself. Korean dramas have definitely become more popular, I prefer most of them too but do get tired of watching such long series. However brought that up for I noticed the other two places and some that recap Korean shows can do them with very brief recaps where not every bit of info or happening needs to be explained. So going to try doing that for the remaining six recaps and the goal is to have no more than four paragraphs though many screenshots.

 Let's get right to it then and at the conclusion of the previous episode Yumi had set up two of her classmates into becoming call girls. That gig ended rather quickly for them, one night to be precise as she had pics of the girl's encounter taken and within two days the girls were expelled from school. Hiromi knew nothing of what happened as the act had been done by her alter ego Yumi. At school her senpai and perhaps admirer Shindo had learned that Hiromi may have had something to do with the girls getting expelled and went out to investigate that night.
 He's on to something as he happened to encounter Yumi's one ally Tatsuya who had been running away from a gang. Shindo then ended up at Tatsuya's secret hideaway/apartment where soon after who should arrive but Hiromi(!) but it being night meant she had transformed into her Yumi personality. But of course Shindo said this has to be a girl who just resembled Hiromi mightily, there's no way the girl he knew would be roaming the streets at night. That's Yumi above who asked was the reason Shindo looking for Hiromi was because he liked her?

 Shindo ended up being satisfied the girl wasn't Hiromi so left Tatsya's place with his new 'friend' in tow. But shortly after they had been jumped and captured by a gang of delinquent girls who despised Yumi, perhaps capturing her two friends would bring her out of hiding. Which is what it did but things didn't work out well for the group of five girls as Yumi is so unlike Hiromi and is quite a fighter. She managed to subdue two gals rather quickly which sent the others fleeing for their lives and that enabled Yumi to save the two males.
 The following day at school Shindo cornered Hiromi who said the previous night she had been at cram school which he believed. However Hiromi is wondering is she really going to cram school? That's what's been written in her diary nightly but the entries were done by Yumi to throw her evil grandmother off her track as she had been becoming very leery about Hiromi's escapades at night. Once more Shindo went out hunting for Yumi or should I say Hiromi as though he was satisfied she wasn't her causing so much havoc at night he wasn't entirely positive. They did meet up at Tatsuya's that same night and what Yumi was telling Shindo confused him as Yumi was saying Hiromi lives inside her(?). Shortly after Yumi went into her transformation of turning back into Hiromi and they're becoming more frequent. Luckily Shindo was there to escort Hiromi home but now he's more confused than ever as this quickie recap comes to it's conclusion and think making it brief worked out well.
