Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.
Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.
Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.
Updating update, May 19th:
Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.
The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.
June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

'Top Twenty Faves' countdown for 2021: Position #9, the enticing Minami Umezawa!
Created the list for the top sixteen(twenty) a few days before the countdown began. Usually will make a switch or two as I go on but made it to the twelfth spot without any and figured no changes would take place for once. But when I got to number eleven said she truly deserves to be a few positions higher and bumped her up to eighth though wish it could have been higher than that! So everyone who was originally eighth to tenth got moved down one spot, nothing all that major though eleventh can't say she was in the top ten for the second year in a row!
Minami can though and that drop of one position meant she didn't finish in the eighth spot as she did in 2020. The aura of Nogi has sort of worn off the past few years, just two active members made the top sixteen though a pair of graduates did. As I've mentioned too many times to count for the last two years or so have considered Minami to be Nogi's most alluring/sexiest member ever, she just has that certain something about her. It wouldn't shock me if she's the only Nogi gal to make future lists, perhaps #16 could too but within two years will any be left from the first or second generations?
**** Hope to have a post around January 6th which is her 23rd birthday. It's an odd tidbit but have a fave who was born on January 4th, 5th , 6th and seventh which is the longest streak for birthdays.
If you didn't hear the news back on November 29th Minami was appointed as Nogi's vice-captain. In ten years they had never had one so you would have to presume the group's current captain will be graduating sometime next year. Does sound as if being captain is a nice honor but don't know if it's that important of a position or has a lot of responsibility. It does mean though that the captain will always be a Senbatsu member and at concerts they tend to run the show as emcees. To me appointing Minami was a wise choice as she does seem to be the most mature and level headed of any of the newish members plus it also means she'll be with Nogi for at least 2-3 more years. First post in two months as it's been a slower second half of the year but do have over seventy new pics since that last post plus some oldies so this should be a large post and most will be for those who made the top ten.
On October 4th Minami began her gig as a co-host on "The Time" show, it airs every day but she just appears on Monday. It's been twenty months since the 'Eizouken' drama aired, I thought she did a superb job in it and wish we saw her in some shows but zero since then. Few recent pics from her Instagram account as so few members do posts on the Nogi blog these days except for special announcements, many of these are from the set of the variety show.
Last month did a 'pairs post' for my top two Hina members. Have done ten of those posts for Nogi gals but it's been well over a year since the last one but hope to have one within two months. It'll feature her with the soon to be departing Mai and those two seem to be so close, her solo posts are the least popular of any member. And what's so hard to believe is that Minami's solo posts are the second least favorite ones for any member which really shocks me.
Plenty of Nogi cards for today with this first set being all new ones from their 'FES' series.
Those bottom ones were of course for Halloween and have more new ones in this set. First few are for Nogi's Summer/Autumn tour while the others are for the 'NogiKoi' web game.
One more batch of cards which are for Christmas and features mainly older ones.
Back in the Autumn of 2018 five Nogi members were part of a With Online campaign to promote their OL clothing. Four of those members soon fell by the wayside but not Minami who just celebrated her third anniversary with them two months ago. Her pics from the site are always overly superb but there's been a huge decrease of them the past few months, some recent pics from their site and as you can see in the bottom ones is joined by a member from Hina and Keya.
What's also been lacking as of late are magazine spreads, just have one new one for today from the December issue of With. Guess Minami was due for a break from them as she appeared in too many mags to count from 2019 until this Summer, often as the cover girl.
Do have one older spread that's from the September/October edition of CM Now. Didn't check but for some reason have a very strong feeling this spread may not have been posted, even if it was it's so terrific it deserved an encore viewing.
Minami seems t be the 'face' of the third generation as when there's an event she's always at it and as probably Nogi's new captain she should be at every future event. This batch of pics are from a November 16th event to promote a new Sony 'Xperia View' VR unit and of course there's no video from a Nogi event which I've never understood. But do have a mini video to promote the VR and if she was only part of what we could view.... Xperia video
You wouldn't know it but wrapped this up in record time even though there was a massive amount of pics and happenings. Position #8 will be in two days but then there will be a gap of three days as the fave in the seventh spot will be at a film premiere on the 11th and want to include that in her post. Will end off with some super duper alluring Minami pics, many are from her first and only photobook to date and as I mentioned earlier she's Nogi's sexiest member in my eyes. Back in September had the pics for her October spread for the BLT magazine but at the time there wasn't a video of the photo shoot, there is now and it's after this set of pics.
