Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Minami Hamabe: Little bit of this and that....

One thing that will never change here is that Minami will always be the youngest person I talk about but they way she presents herself you'd think she was five years older. Will discuss it more in future posts but this slowdown on activities has definitely affected all of us in different ways. As far as the Blog goes have been finding myself so much less interested in J-Pop Idols and even when things get back to normal can see a decrease in those posts save for my fave Nogi or Keya members. Have always preferred doing posts for actresses but they along with Idols haven't done as much as they usually do the past three months and we all know why.

One day I will do a post or two for the "Kakeguiri" movie, have watched it but on my TV as I rarely watch films on my computer and it was a fine film. So by those comments at the top will be trying to do more posts for actresses and less for Idols which actually won't be a problem like it once was. Concerts still can't be held which affects groups quite a bit but dramas and movies are starting to film again. That's good news as Minami has a drama coming out next month so am really hoping to have a few more posts for her about the show which is one I'll be checking out. Title of the series is "Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru" which doesn't roll off my tongue too easily. Will have more info on it as it gets closer to airing but like so many shows it's based on a manga, once again she'll be a chef in a series and you may recall her previous time was in the "Gakeppuchi Hotel" 2018 drama.

Never did recap the final two shows of her 'Alibi' series which had a total of seven episodes. There was a long wait for those two shows to be subbed so didn't bother with any recaps. It was a decent drama but then again I thought it could have been much better. Minami was fine in the series but they could have used her talents a bit more wisely, my rating for the series would have been a 7.5/10 but she's such a superb actress will continue to view all of her dramas.

"Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" was a drama which I was enjoying through three episodes but the final three haven't been subbed and it's been over a month wait. Sure they'll eventually get done as it does star a trio of popular Nogi members. Minami made a guest appearance towards the end and will also be in the movie of the same name. That had been postponed due to the crisis, it was supposed to be released in May but now who knows when it'll be coming out.
Minami will also be appearing in the film "Love Me, Love Me Not" which will be coming out in the Autumn. It's another teen film based on a manga and can't wait until she just does adult roles. For that upcoming drama there was an interview done last week for the Hikari-TV site.

Could have made this and other recent posts a bit bigger but have been cutting down the size of them as things are still a tad slow and keeping them smaller will mean more of them. Minami has been an exclusive model for Voce since late last year, think it's the only place she does modeling work for on a regular basis and this way too small set is from their May issue.

But there were plenty if fine pics at the Voce site.

Will end off with this terrific set which I wish was bigger from the May 6th edition of Big Comic Spirits and Minami has been their cover girl at least ten times. Minami will also be the cover girl for the next issue of Mini and hope to have that in her next post. Following the pics is a short promo video for the spread which was a decent watch.
