Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Haruka Fukuhara: A little bit of this and that....

Haruka has had many posts these past few months, six to be exact which now makes her eligible for this year's 'Top Twenty Faves' list and it was just a question of when she would qualify and not will she? It's her 29th post in all which may not seem like a lot but it is when you consider Haruka's first post wasn't done until September 2018. Back then the requirement to be introduced was being twenty in age which she turned in August, these days 22 is how old you need to be for an introduction. There's now sixteen who have qualified for the esteemed list or are within two posts of doing so, better increase the amount of gals I post about as I'd like 30-35 to be eligible.

Haruka has become such a massive fave of mine but don't think she has quite what it takes to be number one for the year. Possibly because she's still a bit young, she'll be turning 22 in August but I expect her to finish somewhere between fifth and eighth on this year's faves list and in future years she should always be a contender for the top spot.
Up until a year ago had never watched a Haruka drama, now I've viewed three complete ones, two guest appearances she made in two series plus ten episodes in four other dramas she's appeared in. Her last post was two days ago for her guest spot on the April 22nd 'Rental-Man' show and one reason she's climbed up my faves list is because she's such a darn good actress. Had been waiting for her last film "Love and Murder of Sheep and Wolf" to come be released on DVD, it came out last November. So was shocked when I learned it did on May 13th and now need to find a subbed version of it. The movie is Haruka's first suspense/thriller as she was a woman who committed a murder in the film and glad to see she doesn't play it safe when it comes to acting roles.

Haruka is also a singer whose third single will be coming out this month. her first one was released last August and was titled Misenka na Hikari-tachi", it did okay on the charts hitting the 26th position. Did do a post back then for activities but had forgotten to include these interview pics promoting the single for the Hustle Press site.

June 24th will be the release day of single #3 and the title of the song is "Kaze ni Fukarete". It's the theme song to the current anime 'Kaguya-sama', have the song and PV and it's a decent enough song though her voice is so soft. Will have the PV at the bottom of the post and here are the covers for it.

That Haruka post from two days ago was a drama recap where in the show she was celebrating a birthday. Found a pic which was included in that post from her 19th b-day that took place on August 28, 2017 and said I would try to find more from the event. Did accomplish that and it was a duo event as besides a b-day party it was also promoting Fit's candy though by the way she looked you'd think it was Halloween.

Haruka's last drama was "Yuuru Camp", did view two episodes of it and it's a show I will finish but not for a while. It had to do with camping, hiking and traveling, because of that Haruka has appeared in a few travel mags such as Tokyo Walker and think there was a post for her spread with them back in April. That's a regional magazine as she's also appeared in both Tokai and Yokohama Walker, five pics each from those two spreads.

Often have moaned about how there's not enough Haruka spreads and here she is with three in one post! Will end off with some of her best pics ever which are from the May issue of BLT Graph and she was their cover girl. After the pics check out the PV for the upcoming single.
