Updating update, May 19th:
Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.
The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.
June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Haruka Fukuhara: "Rental Nan mo Shinai Hito" drama episode three recap....
Not her birthday but you'll see what I'm talking about as this post goes on. Had wanted to title this post 'part two' meaning there was another one before, obviously that didn't work out.... yet. Have three recent Haruka mag spreads but just a few other new pics which total to be about 25, that's right on the fringe of having a regular post. But will be working on that other one and promise to have a post for her by the end of the week.
That top pic is from a birthday event which I hadn't been aware of until a few minutes ago so that's something I'll try to add in to that next post. At first was going to include the screenshots from this drama in that original post but took so many of them(41) thought a separate post would work out better. Know not many viewers are drama fans but am certain if you're a Haruka fan then you'll love this post as she looks so unbelievably adorable.... as usual....
Will give a brief intro to the series before the main recap. It's the only episode I've viewed and not sure if I'll be watching any more of the show. Seems like a decent drama though a bit slow moving but this was a fine episode, there's a different guest star in each episode. The series revolves around a thirty year old man named Shota who gets by in life by doing.... nothing?!
What that means is he doesn't have a regular job or it doesn't appear so, hard knowing his background from one show. But Shota's 'main profession' is what he calls being a companion but doing little else with that person. If an individual is in need of a person for a few hours he's for hire but the only fee he accepts is for expenses which is usually just taking the train. Shota isn't a gigolo but a man who will ride the train with you, take a walk in the park, visit a ice cream shop or the like, all innocent events.
Let's get right to the story and Haruka plays the character of Kana who is about to celebrate her 21st birthday. But it's going to be a lonely one as her best friend Hitomi had to bail on their night out due to her boyfriend arriving in town. As you can see above Kana said she had a date for her b-day which was a lie, looks like she'll be celebrating by her lonesome self. But that night Kana noticed at a social site an ad about a man who 'rents' himself' out for a few hours. That intrigued Kana who said what did she have to lose by asking a man over for a few hours but it was someone she had never met.
That's the pair meeting for the first time above, as mentioned his name is Shota but Kana refers to him as Rental-san for the episode, I'll use Shota. It's 11:00 pm and Kana wanted someone with her at midnight when she officially turns 21, with an hour to kill the pair hold a conversation. It's mainly dominated by Kana as Shota is a fairly quiet and unassuming man but when he speaks his words have some real meaning behind them. That's okay to Kana that her 'date' for the night is quiet as for the first time in a while she can speak to someone freely about her life.
Kana appears to be like most young gals who are 21 or at least it does to me. She does have a group of friends but confided to Shota that she's been thinking does she really have any friends? Being with them is such a chore to Kana as she needs to follow what they do, how they dress, etc. She spends way too much time these days on sites responding to pics her so-called friends have added or to the comments they've made. Kana is getting a bit weary of that kind of life but she's so confused on how to change her life or does it just naturally happen?
One recent incident which infuriated Kana took place the previous Christmas. She was supposed to go out to celebrate the day with her two friends and even took time off from work to do that. But at the last minute some unexpected events happened and Kana's two friends couldn't join her that holiday night. Kana was furious and wanted to respond angrily to her two friends but held back, that also has been troubling Kana which is that she can't be honest with anyone she knows. That went on for a while and though Shota didn't say much he knew exactly what Kana was going through as he himself is a bit of an addict to social media sites. This life story from Kana went on for a while and during that time the clock was approaching midnight, just a few more minutes and she'll be celebrating her 21st birthday.
It finally hit the Witching Hour which means Kana is now 21, that means something in America but in Japan twenty is the age considered to be an adult. As you can see above Kana had bought a birthday cake for the occasion, you can also see what she requested from Shota. That's to take a photo and seeing as how he does 'nothing' at his encounters would that be okay by him. Of course it would replied Shota though he's not a very good cameraman. That was okay to Kana as she just wanted some sort of memory from the special night, Shota was correct as he did flub up the picture as you could see a bit of his finger in the picture.
However that worked out well for Kana who said it proved she didn't take it and even after all of her ramblings about her friends guess what she did next? If you said that Kana uploaded the picture on her Twitter page to impress her friends you were correct and impressed is what they were, they asked Kana did she have a secret boyfriend? Though Kana really didn't want to upload the pic from her mini birthday celebration she revealed to Shota it was the only time she had ever done something like that and wanted once to have her friends be a tad envious of her.
Shota understood perfectly and actually thought her decision was the right one. But now the time is getting a bit late, it's approaching 1:00 am when her 'date' with Shota expires. As mentioned he doesn't accept a fee for being with a lonely person and just takes money for the train. That's what Kana gave him as Shota rushed home where he has a wife and a young child. An episode is 32 minutes, he left Kana with about seven minutes to go but really just skimmed through the remaining time which was with his wife and that brings us to the end of the recap.
Subs for this show were done by Irozuku Subs, they did another series I recently recapped and while they don't do many dramas their subs have been solid. This episode was also solid and perhaps I will check out a few other episodes as some of the guest stars are some actresses who are fairly good. Plenty of screenshots below from this episode and like I said Haruka just looked so adorable, in real life she is 21 in age but will be turning 22 in August.
