Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

'Top Ten Faves' countdown for 2019.... #10, Tsubasa Honda

** Carried these list posts over from my original blog, there it was a top twenty list but am only going to have the top ten here.

Hate to say that finishing tenth on the list is a disappointment but in a way this turned out to be a minor one. That's because Tsubasa was third on the first two preliminary lists and has gradually taken a tumble of seven spots which ended being the largest drop of anyone who remained on the list. For five or more years Tsubasa has been the busiest actress around but since August can't say that as she's only had one post in almost four months.
Don't know what's been going on with her as it isn't a case of her not being busy at all as she did have the lead role in the recent "Cheat" drama. But over the years seems Tsubasa's 'bread and butter' has been attending events and she always looks so super duper at them. But there's been zero appearances for three months along with a shortage of mag spreads and have no clue why that's been the case.

For the three previous yearly lists Tsubasa finished in the sixth position and thought she'd at least be that high this year which obviously didn't happen. She also was in the tenth spot on my all time list, three faves made from that list made it onto this year's list and was incorrect in #13's post when I said just two made both my all time list and this year's faves list. Have mentioned a few times that if I was marooned on a desert island Tsubasa would be the gal I'd want there more than anyone else. Few others are making that choice harder but for now would say she still has that honor.
So won't be a huge post for new happenings as there's really been a shortage of things, watch her appear at a few events or in some mags after this post is done! Very disappointed that her "Cheat" drama hasn't been subbed, the first show was but it seems as though that person dropped the project. Seems to be Tsubasa's best show in years and have been skimming through some of the shows but haven't been watching too closely due to the lack of subs.

Her character's name in the show is both Saki and Momo as she plays someone who uses two names. In a few of those screenshots are her co-star who I think will be #8 on the list and it got me thinking which fave has pics with the most in the top twenty? Will go through it a bit more closer but Tsubasa isn't someone who has been around that many others, will give more details in a wrap up post when the countdown is completed but think she only has pics with three, the other two being #'s 2 and 16.

As mentioned there's not too many new things for today but there are a pair of mag spreads with this set being from the November issue of Spring.

One more new Tsubasa spread and she's the cover girl for the December Bijin Hyakka.

How about a trip down memory lane with another cover and this much older set is from the January 8th edition of Young Jump.

Tsubasa is an exclusive model for the More site, these are some pics since mid October and these are the best for today as she looks so tremendous in most of them.

Wasn't a huge post but turned out better than I thought it would be coming in, know the next couple of posts in the countdown will be much larger. Will end off with a new Tsubasa CM for Osaka Metro, don't know why she does CM's for them as she hails from Tokyo.
