Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Kazusa Okuyama: Somehow even more recent happenings!

Kazusa released her first photobook two months ago and expected her to be taking a break. She had also been in the 'Lupinranger' series which ran for a whole year, plus she had appeared in so many mags really thought we wouldn't be hearing from her for a while. That hasn't been the case as she seems to have a post every three weeks and all have contained some truly dazzling pics, today's collection ranks up there with Kazusa's best.

Not a huge variety of happenings but the total new pics probably adds up to over forty, don't think it'll be too long until her next post. Of course most fans know by now that Kazusa played the character of Tsukasa in the 'Lupinranger' series that ended in February. Have seen over twenty episodes but have a ways to go until it's finished, it really is one fun show.
There was a special movie that was released on May 3rd, it has the Lupinrangers versus the Cyurangers which was the Sentai series that aired the year before. The premiere was held last Friday and in August it's coming out on DVD with a lot of interactive games and other things on it.

Just one mag spread for today but it's a terrific set of pics. Don't think anyone has appeared in as many issues of WPB as Kazusa has the past year and know her fans are glad of that. She's the cover girl once again for their May 20th edition.

WPB really likes her too as they have a new special pictorial with Kazusa. It's a big collection and could have had all of the pics in one post but am going to split the set up and include them in three posts so two more of this incredible set will be coming up. It's not an official photobook as there's only about fifty pics and it's titled 'Real'. There's a short promo video after the pics which is quite fabulous but sadly is only 1:07 in length.

Kazusa Okuyama: Pair of sparkling new mag spreads plus slightly more....

Think a day or two break is needed before I burn myself out which may have already been done. The last month may have been my busiest period in years and my eyes are going in circles looking at a Blogger screen. So if you don't hear from me until Friday you'll know why, good time to kick back and catch up on my drama watching along with a few other things. Think it'll be a bit slow until the weekend so zero things will be missed, also a good chance for viewers to catch up on some very old yet terrific posts. But then again if my and everyone's current #1 Risa happens to....

Since the beginning of 2018 my biggest fave of all of the gals I've introduced has been Kazusa, seems like she should have way more than eleven posts but perhaps I've made them too huge. Think there may be two posts though in the next few weeks, one for definite and let's keep our fingers crossed for two.
Kazusa will be the cover girl for the next issue of Young Magazine, that comes out next week. She's also going to be the cover girl for volume two of a special mag called 'Young King Bull'. Not sure when the issue will be coming out but she did have a few pics on her Instagram page.

Kazusa turned 25 on March 10th, two days later she released her first photobook with the simple title of "Kazusa". It did well it's first two weeks out as it was in the top ten for best selling books, these are some promo pics for the PB but did have them in her previous post. But then again it's impossible to get tired viewing Kazusa pics....

As many may know Kazusa first shot to fame a year ago appearing in the 'Lupinranger' series which was a fun show though haven't viewed all fifty episodes. There's been 3-4 special events for the show where the Lupinrangers face off against the Patrangers on stage, Kazusa was one of the latter and her character was named Tsukasa. The special events drew a lot of fans and were also filmed, there will be a DVD of the mini tour coming out on July 10th. The final performance of the tour took place March 17th at the Shizuoka City Cultural Center, pics here are from that.

There's also going to be a movie coming out on May 3rd, it's roughly titled 'Lupinranger vs. Patranger vs. Ryukyu Ranger', the final was the previous Sentai series that aired. Looks to be an interesting plot as some of the good guys become evil, may have to watch 'Ryukyu' to understand what's going on. There was an event for the movie today that was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo, huge cast as there will be sixteen Rangers in it.

Don't know what Kazusa has lined up next for dramas or films, she became very popular in 'Lupinranger' so it'd be nice to see her in a prime time show. Actually what may be better is for her to have a lead role in a late night show as those are usually so much better. Lot of Kazusa's popularity has come from her mag spreads the past year, to me very few have beaten her pictorials. The pair of spreads for today are both from Friday and both have outtake pics from her PB, this first set is from their March 8th issue.

Though Kazusa has done so many gravure spreads she's still retained those down to earth looks and personality she had, least to me she has. Didn't go in order with the spreads as this one is from the March 1st Friday, it was much bigger so thought it'd be good to end off with these pics. Shame there's no video from the photo shoot as Kazusa looks so ultra alluring, whewwww!
