Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Tsubasa Honda: Suddenly everyone's #1????

Know the heading is far from true as Tsubasa has been the least popular woman I've ever posted about! However her last post done two weeks ago has been heavily viewed, as a matter of fact it's her most viewed post since September 2017! So don't know what that sudden increase means but hopefully this and her upcoming posts will also attract a lot of attention. Tsubasa's first regular post was done in February 2013 and save for an occasional post for someone else there's no other woman from back then who still gets a lot of posts. It's so rare these days for an actress/model to hit the 100 post milestone, it's just happened once in the last four years. What's even more difficult is to hit 200 posts and with this one Tsubasa just needs 25 more which is still quite a few. But expect her to have at least five more for the year so guess that milestone could take place near the end of 2024 but that's looking too far ahead, who knows if I'll still be here in 2 1/2 years?!?!

The goal for 2022 is to see her make a return to the yearly fave's list! Tsubasa had made the list six years in a row, the first five times she was in the top ten. But have to admit she had such a bad stretch from about September 2020 until the beginning of this year. Not as many activities plus her modeling and magazine pics were kind of drab, it's perfectly fine not doing gravure photo shoots but her pics for well over a year kind looked all the same, bland. But there's been a nice comeback this year and in all honesty she may look better than ever! Tsubasa will be turning thirty(!) in exactly two months and I do prefer woman who are in the 27-32 age range.

Lately have been doing medium sized posts which has worked out well as I've been able to do more of them. This post is somewhat large yet am holding back two mag spreads and her recent IG pics as there's a chance there could be another post this Sunday. "Radiation House" is a drama that had two seasons and there's a film version coming out Friday. So if there's a premiere for the movie then can do a post which will make three in a month, also know there will be at least one post in both May and June. Let's get on with newish things and Tsubasa has slowed down on her modeling the past few years, also a bit appearing in dramas. But do have a small but superb batch of modeling pics that came out in March for Deim.

Do have a few more modeling pics which also came out in March for Global Work and here's the link to a CM for them: Global Work CM

Tsubasa has been a long time model for the More magazine. This set is from their May issue and hope it wasn't in her last post, even if it was this spread deserved an encore viewing....

Another spread for More and this is from their June edition.

One more spread and Tsubasa is the cover girl for the May issue of Spring.

Back in 2017 there was a live action version of the anime/manga series "Fullmetal Alchemist". Did view the movie but never did any posts for it, do recall it being a decent film so let me watch it again and do some posts for it. Tsubasa had the lead female role of Winry in the movie, there's going to be two more parts for the story which will be released on May 20th and June 24th. So there should be a few posts for the films as there will be some events and such to promote it. The first event for the movies was held on April 21st at the Prince Park Tower in Tokyo though there was no screening of the movie. Whew, Tsubasa has always looked like a few trillion yen to me but you can up that total quite a bit these days, whew again!!!! Plenty of ultra fabulous pics here from the event but for some odd reason there's no decent videos of it. So after the pics have a short CM for Myojo Dark Big soup, short CM yet it has over six million views in two months!
