Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.
Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.
Updating update, May 19th:
Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.
The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.
June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Minami Hamabe: An semi avalanche of recent happenings....
Well, perhaps one fan is a slight exaggeration but Minami really may not have many more than that! Last year her posts had an average of 335 views which in prior years may not have been too bad. But these days almost everyone receives way more views for their posts so that average ranked her second to last for 2020, guess there's nowhere to go but up! Haven't been posting about Minami for too long, not even eighteen months yet but she's already up to 42 posts and remains the youngest gal I post about.
Though I do a lot of posting about actresses it's been very rare for one to reach a hundred posts. It's only happened eight times and the last occurrence was in 2017 however think sometime in March the ninth actress will hit that milestone. But will there be anyone else after her? That's a good question and think one hundred posts will be hit but only if I continue to post until 2024 or later. The way I look at it is that of the actresses I currently post about two could hit a hundred and possibly a third but as mentioned it wouldn't be for a few years. Bring that up for Mianmi is someone I could see hitting that mark and perhaps sooner than 2024 as she is one busy young woman. The other person I think will eventually hit that milestone is a good pal of hers and who will hit it first?
With her is Haruka and will have a post for her within ten days. That pic above is brand new as she's making an appearance on Minami's new drama that begins in two days. Have more info on that but first how about some recent IG pics. Up until August or so she used to post about two pics a month and now it seems like two pics an hour....
Title of the new drama is "Date My Daughter" and if it gets subbed will be viewing it along with having some recaps. In the series Mianmi will be playing a twenty year old who lives with her mother who is a very successful writer. Her character's name is Sora and she's appears to be quite the Otaku whose only interests in life are animes and mangas. Sora has no desire in getting a boyfriend but the main story will be of her and the mother teaming up to find her one.
Seems like it could be an interesting show and I also like the actress playing her mother. Here's some new interview pics she did to promote the show with the Mantan Web site and she's dressed like her character in the drama.
Speaking of dramas here's the final batch of screenshots from the 'Talio' series, they're from the fifth episode. Did watch the final two but didn't take any screenshots as I wasn't planning on recapping them but was going to do this show but aborted it. Minami had the lead role of Mami who at twenty years old somehow earned a degree in law and became an attorney. However she did go a bit overboard in the first show solving a case and was disbarred but joined forces with a shady man named Kensuke to help those who have been swindled or cheated.
In this episode Mami and her partner were hired to solve an old case of a wife dying 25 years prior. The police were never able to solve it though there were three prime suspects but leave it to Mami who used her unique skills to solve a case that was dormant for so long. This was an enjoyable series, her last three dramas have all been quite good but have lacked that one special spark to make them a must watch though her acting is always top notch.
Just this one mag spread for today and to me it's a case of.... why'd the bother!!!! Minami was the cover girl for the January issue of Da Vinci yet they only gave her two pages, grrrr....
Here's some brand new Minami pics from the Ghana/Lotte site for a new chocolate bar called 'LOVE ITACHOCO' and should they have waited a few more weeks for Valentine's Day?
Those are from the Lotte site and also a new CM for the choco bar, have it at the bottom of the post and there's also a behind the scenes segment which I enjoyed. There was an event held on January 5th though not many pics from it.
Have some better pics from the December 18th premiere of "The Promised Neverland" film. In her last post had some pics from the event but none of these pics were in that post, had to have more as Minami has never looked so good.
Almost always end off with the best pics for a post, usually they're mag spreads or promo pics for a photobook. Minami is probably the only person who will have a post end off with kimono pics(!) and why not as she looks so fabulous dressed in them. These are brand new from the Kyoto Kimono Yuzen site and following them check out her new CM.
