Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Mayu Hotta: Finally her first intro post(yay!)....

Said finally as I've mentioned Mayu 3-4 times this year in other posts and how she really deserves her own. But as usual had a severe lapse in memory and kept forgetting but won't in the future, once I break the ice with someone often the posts come rapidly. Won't have a bombardment of posts to begin off with but could do at least five of them today for events and such from the past year, perhaps more than five.

Don't think Mayu will be extremely popular but then again she seems like the kind of person who may have a lot of fans. One reason for maybe not being too popular in the long run is that Mayu is a rather conservative young woman and have never seen her do any gravure mag spreads or pics. But to me that's a plus as though I do often have posts of scantly clad Idols I do prefer gals like her and you may have noticed that in the last preliminary list for this year's faves.

Two recent posts have jogged by memory of Mayu. One was at the beginning of the month as she appeared in a spread with my current #4 fave and these two are truly the best of friends. Am referring to Haruka who today celebrates her 22nd birthday but won't do a post for her until next weekend. That's the same age of Mayu who turned 22 back on April 2nd and think a pair of other faves also have a b-day on that day. Will have more bio info as these posts go on, her height is 159 cm and seems so many posts recently have been for shorter gals.

She's also buddies with Mio who has the post below this one, will have pics of them in an upcoming post. The other thing that jogged my memory was when I reviewed the "He Won't Kill, She Won't Die" film that came out last November. She played such a quirky and shallow character in the movie named Kyapiko who was so crazy about boys. But never to date them for a long time, her goal was to go out with them for a while and dump them before they had the chance to.

Mayu appeared at three events for the film, may have other ones in future posts. This set here is from a special screening that took place on November 7, 2019 and the film opened eight days later.

Mayu seems to have been in more films and dramas than anyone the last two years, she never has the starring role but her character's are usually an important part of the story. Since March she's been an exclusive model for the Non-no magazine, some pics from their site.

Her first spread for Non-No was in their March issue. Those are the top six pics while the others are from their April edition.

Have six other sets which I can spread out over three or so posts but there's also many other things besides spreads to get to from the past year. This set is from the February issue of Mina.

Mayu is the cover girl for today's final thing, it's a brand new set from the September issue of Big Comic Spirits. Hope it stays on YT for a while, that's the video of the photo shoot which you can view after the pics.
