Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Jin Se-Yeon: Her quest to be this year's #1 is now in full gear....

Though wish her quest was to make Nao #1 in her heart!!!! Had that top pic in her last post, it just leaves me breathless....Though I would consider Se-Yeon to be my current number one it's so difficult for a Korean actress to hit that position on the top twenty yearly list. Compared to Japanese actresses the ones from Korea don't appear in nearly as many mags plus those spreads are so inferior. They also don't appear at as many events but when they do they look so tremendous.
However Se-Yeon is someone who appears at many events though obviously not lately. But if things do get back to somewhat normal for the second half of the year that'll hopefully mean we'll be seeing much more of her. For today don't have many current happenings but do have so many ultra perfect pics of Se-Yeon from prior years. She's had so many of these posts this year yet there's so many activities that I haven't got to from 2015-19 which I will be, almost everything for today is from 2017-19 but 100% of those ideal pics have never been posted here before.

June 9th is when Se-Yeon's current drama "Born Again" ends and I can't wait to sit down to view all 32 episodes. Have been skimming through some of them which may help in the future but so many events have taken place it may make me more confused! It's a show that started out in 1986, her character of Ha-Eun along with two friends had been murdered by a serial killer. One of the two was Ha-Eun's detective boyfriend, thirty years later the trio get reincarnated but none remember their previous lives.
Ha-Eun's name is now Sa-Bin, where Ha-Eun had owned a used bookstore Sa-Bin works as a coroner and professor for the NFS. Her old boyfriend is now a prosecutor and in this episode cancelled his wedding as it now appears he has his eyes set for Sa-Bin. She also may be stalked by a killer and it could be the person from 1986 whose name is Jong-Beom who can recall some incidents from the past. There's so much happening in this series and it's one you need to start from the first show, these are from what I just viewed which is the 19th episode.

Don't think many drama fans consider Se-Yeon to be a good actress, granted there are better ones but to me she's quite solid. One drama I need to view is "Item" from last year, did watch the first two episodes but my backlog of series to view was so long never got back to it. But sill have the show so will be hitting it after "Born Again is watched and recapped. For the "Item" drama which began in February 2019 there were plenty of interviews done. This set of pics is from one of them which was for Dispatch and is that top pic of Se-Yeon is out of this world, whewwww!

These are some pretty darn superb interview pics too which are from June 2018 and the MTVJ site promoting her "Grand Prince" series. Not too many Se-Yeon mag spreads left so thought I'd have some interview pics which actually look better than most mag spreads. Once again the first pic makes your heart flutter a bit out of control....

As I've said many times I'd rather see pics of a Korean actress at an event versus an Idol mag spread and no woman tops Se-Yeon at them. Have a pair of events for today with this first batch being from October 21, 2017 which was the 'HERA Seoul Fashion Week' ceremony/show.

Se-Yeon also was at the 2018/19 shows which are in previous posts. Last bit for today are this set of pics from September 11, 2018 and the VIP premiere for the film "Water", noticed she hasn't been in a movie since 2016. There's quite a few videos on YT and it's so hard picking one out though most truly aren't that good or are for dramas. But picked an interesting one out from a morning show that aired last October and wonder if that's really Se-Yeon's apartment?
