Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Haruka Fukuhara: Few recent happenings....

Should have another post later on for today, even if there isn't will be taking tomorrow off as it's still such a slow time for happenings in Japan. Now here's someone who has become a massive fave of mine but this is Haruka's first post since February 1st. It's not that she hasn't been busy as she is in a drama but there's been zero mag spreads since that date plus only one event. So not too many recent happenings but bet there's close to fifty new pics today for Haruka fans. Have noticed she does have a core of them here, usually her posts don't make the top ten for having the most views but she's much more popular than most actresses.

Haruka finished in the eighth position on last year's faves list, don't know why she couldn't do that again this year though have a feeling she could move up a few spots. Have been skimming through Haruka's latest drama "Yuru Camp" which seems like a decent show. Problem has been only the first episode was subbed and even then they were a bit terrible.

Subs though weren't needed for this scene, sigh....

Think I've mentioned it a few times which is to me Haruka has the most attractive face of anyone I post about and somehow that attractiveness seems to be increasing daily. So it's a bit surprising to me she doesn't do more modeling, don't know if it's her decision or sites haven't signed her up. There are a few new modeling pics from Jill Stuart but for contact lenses?

Haruka released her second single back on March 11th, title of it is "Toumei Clear" and will have the PV for it at the bottom of the post. First week sales were just 943 copies sold which landed the song in the 36th spot on the charts but have noticed most singles have been taking a dip in sales lately. Think it hurt her not being able to perform it live but there was a mini concert scheduled for April 5th which has probably been cancelled.

Haruka did do a few interviews right around when the single came out, these are from the 'Alpen' site and doesn't she look tremendous?!

More fabulous interview pics which are from the 'Tokyo What's In' site, if you want to visit it here's the link to the site:  Tokyo What's In site

As mentioned no new Haruka mag spreads for today which is the case too often but even when there are none her posts are always super duper. So will have an encore viewing of a semi oldie that was posted about four months ago and is from the December 11th issue of Weekly Shonen.

Final tidbit today are these magnificent pics from the February 29th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Spring show that was held at the empty Yoyogi National Stadium. Haruka took her stroll on the 'Earth, Music and Ecology' stage, bottom pics are from a My Navi interview that took place backstage. Their next show was supposed to take place on April 20th but have no clue if it's still going to happen. After the pics check out the PV for Haruka's new "Toumei Clear" single.
