Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.
Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.
Updating update, May 19th:
Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.
The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.
June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Hikaru Takahashi: Another post where I hope some recall who she is!!!!
In that first photo doubt if she's making her return from hibernating the Winter away at her underground empire of Atlantis but this is her first post in ten months! A year ago at this time viewed and recapped Hikaru's current drama a year ago which was titled "Living no Matsunaga-san", it was a rom-com and those usually aren't my cup of tea. However that series was decent as it was much more serious than others in that genre plus Hikaru had the lead female role. I fell for her instantly and by the end of May had done five of these kinds of posts but none since. Part of that blame lies with me as I could have done a post or two but then again from June until September was a bit of a quiet stretch for her.
Isn't that above photo so fabulous? It is to me and those kinds of pictures are in a way better than gravure ones and if you've noticed over the years it's women that are similar to Hikaru who I like over most others. When I started to post about her thought she would have about a post a month as for a while she was so busy but as mentioned there was a slowdown starting last June but could have done something before this. So to please her fans at least one more post will be done for Hikaru next month and would love to have one a month which may not be possible but will certainly try. Have noticed over all these years of blogging that most visitors tend to prefer posts for gravure models and J-Pop Idols over actresses who I prefer and can understand why you readers have different tastes, However one actress/model we do agree on is Hikaru as those five posts for her last year were all popular, especially that first intro post that has well over a thousand views.
Could have made this a very massive post but let me hold some things back so w can have two posts in April and hope I can do a few others for some of my fave actresses. I do need to view more of Hikaru's dramas, to me she's a decent actress though some of the shows she's appeared in to date aren't so appealing to me but her getting older means more meatier roles, she'll be turning 24 this September. One activity Hikaru does do a lot of is modeling though not so much in the second half of 2024. In some good news this January the Oggi magazine signed her up to be an exclusive model for them and the pics at their site are always terrific, three other of my faves have also been a model for them. Here's her first batch of modeling pics from their site, all are superb but especially the last ones....
Last June Hikaru did appear in an Oggi magazine and have that spread here, what took them so long to sign her up???? She also has a large spread for their April issue along with more pics from their site which will be in her next post.
Here's another set from 2024 that hadn't been posted and is from the May 23rd issue of Weekly Bunshun, the pics are tremendous so wish it was larger. Not sure if there's many others from 2024 that have been missed for did say the second half of the year was a slower time for her.
Wasn't going to have this but why not make this post a bit larger than planned. This set has been posted before but bet most have already forgotten about and Hikaru was the cover girl for the April 15, 2021 edition of Flash so exactly four years ago and won't be going back further than that with her photos.
Hikaru is one of the taller women who I do posts for as her height is almost 170 cm or about 66 inches. While her magazine and modeling pics looks superb to me Hikaru looks best in a live setting or at events so will end off with a pair of them. This first set is from last September 7th and the 2024 Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, she took two strolls with the below pics being from the Mercury Duo stage but don't think she appeared at the March 1st show.
Will end off with an even better set of event pics and these are new from March 16th. On that date Hikaru appeared at the HMV Bookstore in Shibuya to promote her 2025 calendar which starts in April and goes to next March, it's her eighth calendar so guess they must sell well. The first pic below is the cover and there's 28 from the event, had so many because Hikaru looked so ultra supreme! After the pics is a video from the event and I hope that wish of having a post a month for her happens as she's the type of woman who could be in the battle to be #1 on my yearly faves list....
