Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.
Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.
Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.
Updating update, May 19th:
Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.
The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.
June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Manami Higa: Another real blast from the past!
Last few months seems as though there's been a fair amount of these 'Blast from the past' posts. But the disappointing thing is that they've never led to many more for that person though that'll be changing with this long time mega fave. Will get more into the details on that at the bottom of the post but would think there would be one or two more posts on the horizon. And posts for Manami have been so rare the last three years, did reupload her "Flap" photobook but this is her first regular post in over two years. She now has 176 which is third among actresses but only five since the beginning of 2018, up until then she was very busy but obviously not so much since then.
On the first 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list done 3 1/2 years ago Manami finished in the 17th spot which you would think is impressive. It was slightly but had I done that list a few years earlier she would have been in about the third spot and for so long she was beating on the door to be my all time #1. That never quite worked out but Manami was one of my first ever huge faves and it's not that I ever stopped liking her but lack of interesting activities and such over the last few years have meant no posts plus will admit I had slightly forgotten about her.
So while not a massive post there's over forty new pics plus once I do a post for someone they tend to come much quicker. So not much variety for today as it's mainly some 2020/21 mag spreads but if you're a Manami fan you should be loving these pics as they're her best in years. She's not too much of an Instagram poster but these pics from the last few months are all terrific.
Up until 2018 I must have seen over a dozen of Manami's dramas but zero since then. Maybe it's just me but none of the series from the last three years have looked all that interesting, correct me if I'm wrong as I would like to view some of them. On to the mag spreads and this first one is from the March 2020 issue of Tokyo Calendar. That was only a four page set but the bottom four are brand new pics from their site and the last few years is constantly changing her hair length.

Second ManamiShukan Bunshun spread is from their April 1, 2021 edition. Had been hanging on to them for so long but had completely forgotten about them until recently.
Superb set here as she was the cover girl for the June 29th issue of SPA!.
Will be ending off with this sweltering batch of pics that may be some of her best ever and there's also some terrific news. On February 24th Manami will be releasing her third photobook and some of these advance pics definitely get my blood boiling! Photobook #2 which was 'Flap" was a solid one but preferred her first book "Clear" which came out in June 2012 when he turned 26. This June Manami will be turning 36(!) but she still looks so fabulous and with this new book am expecting a few new mag spreads and such which is why there should be at least one more upcoming post. No decent new videos so will go back in time for some 'Let's Note' CM's which are after the pics.
