Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

Haruka Fukuhara: Though it seems like eons....

.... it's only been a little over five months since her last post but it seems like an eternity to me! I've missed doing posts for Haruka this year more than anyone else, this is her first one since late March and there's only 3-4 other faves who I enjoy doing posts for more than her. But it hasn't been a case of Haruka not being busy as she has to a certain extent as she's been in three dramas this year and has another beginning next month. However there's been so little else to post about her as there's been zero mag spreads, only one event until today and really hasn't done much outside of acting which isn't a bad thing as I watch just about every show she appears in,

However what's very disappointing to me is that Haruka won't hit the six post mark which is how many are needed to qualify for the yearly fave's list. This is her third and really can't see her having three more by December 1st though there should be one next month. Drama and film posts don't count as she's also had a few of them this year. The last two years Haruka finished in the eighth and seventh positions on the yearly list, she's still in my top ten for fave current gals but three years in a row on the list won't be happening. But every year it happens when some huge faves just can't hit that six post mark, think that'll be the case with five others who made last year's list.

That top pic is one from a prior year's celebration but on August 28th Haruka turned the elderly age of 23. To me she's looking better as he years go on and I've said a few times in the past she has the most attractive face of anyone I post about, rest of her is pretty darn good too! "Unlucky Girl!" is the title of her next drama which begins on October 7th, will do a post just after the first episode airs and will have much more info about the series. Really hope it gets subbed and her co-star is an ex-Nogi member. Haruka's current drama has three more shows to go, it began on July 1st and here's some interview pics from the show with Yahoo Japan that took place on July 10th.

Title of that current drama is "IP: Cyber Sosahan" and above is the recap for the first episode which was 88 minutes in length! However won't be continuing the recaps, have some screenshots today from the second show and may have some in her next post. The main reasons is that the subs are being done slowly, three episodes are done but seven shows have aired. But the biggest reason is the quality of the subs which are very subpar. It's taken me over twenty minutes to edit the subs for each of the first three shows as they were that bad and am getting tired of that. **** But want to add in this is a superb drama through three shows and highly recommend it if some better subs come out. Perhaps I'll edit all ten episodes if anyone wants them, this could be the top drama of the year.

Luckily the other shows are only half the length of that first episode. Haruka plays the lead character of Kizuna who is a rookie at the Kyoto Police Department's Cyber Unit. The small team of six work on computer, internet, cyber, etc. crimes and kind of finding out that I may like police shows more than any other save for horror shows. The main reason Kizuna wanted to work on the cyber team is that she feels the unit's top investigator Yasumiya is her long lost father! He's denying it but we can tell that what Kizuna says is the truth, she's 25 in age while he's fifty and can't ask the mother as she died when Kizuna was just three in age.

In this second show the team worked on a potential blackmail case. A potential one as the person who was about to blackmail a president of a huge company was murdered. His name was Teranishi who was a paparazzi photographer that managed to grab a photo of this company president at a Geisha salon. The suspects went back and forth but of course eventually the villain was nabbed who was one of the least suspected men. Kizuna usually does field work scouting out the crime scenes and her unofficial partner is named Tawada who actually may be a mole sent to the team by the Police Chief's orders. Plenty of suspense and there's not one wasted minute in his series, plenty of screenshots here from this second episode.

Still hoping the second season of "Yuru Camp" will be subbed, it took eight months for the first season to be subbed so it's still possible. Plenty of recent Instagram pics which all look superb, bottom ones are from her 23rd birthday that took place on August 28th.

As I mentioned earlier Haruka is easily the most attractive woman I post about so it baffles me why no modeling site has signed her up. She does do occasional modeling work and these are brand new pics from the Bijin Hyakka site and hope there's more of these terrific pics down the road.

Where I live it's still September 4th and today the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show took place. It's been around for 33 years and today's event was held at the Saitama Super Arena though no audience was allowed to attend and it was streamed live. Haruka took two strolls but not many pics for her nor most of my other faves who were there. Problem was only two shows were held this year which means there were so many more models than usual and most strolls only lasted for forty or so seconds. Plus not as many news sites were allowed to attend which meant many less pics.

We've hit the end and there was a massive amount of pics for a massive fave but when you consider her last regular post was over five months ago it's really not enough. While there's no new mag spreads will end off with one that had never been in a post and how I'd ever overlook it? The spread is exactly four years old and is from the September 2017 issue of Ray and that's a modeling site that should sign Haruka to be a model! After the pics is a newish CM for Perfect Vitamin.
