Konnichiwa and Annyeong Haseyo minna-san

Hope that's correct above but what I'm saying is welcome everyone. May 10, 2019 is the first day of this blog and many may know me from 'Nao Kanzaki and Friends'... aitoda.com. There I have such a mix of things and finally decided to branch out with just a blog devoted to Japanese and Korean dramas. Will also be having some film reviews but one thing you won't see are any J-Pop idols or gravure models except for their dramas, this blog is dedicated 100% to dramas and films.

Also actresses as will be having many, many posts for them. Such as them appearing at events, mag spreads, interview pics and whatever else. So you should be seeing a lot of my bigger long time faves such as Erika Toda, Park Min-Young, Lee Yeon-Hee, Tsubasa Honda and too many others to count. The first few weeks there many not be too many posts for new dramas as I'll be copying many recaps from the old blog along with some film reviews and actress posts.

Won't be going too far back, perhaps to 2015 with a few exceptions and will have an entire series in a row to make it easy to follow. Did find it a problem completing series at the Nao Kanzaki blog, won't be doing that here as all the series will have a post for every episode. Thanks for visiting, it'll will be a work in progress for a while here but hopefully not for too long. Comments are also appreciated, like to know your opinions on dramas and for any recommendations you may have.

News and upcoming projects

Should have done this on my Aitoda blog which is to let viewers know what's going on. Seems like a good way to let everyone know if I'll be taking a break, what to look forward to and any other tidbits.

Updating update, May 19th:

Whew, have finally finished transferring over enough posts from the Aitoda blog. May be a few here and there in the future for some new that's being introduced but there shouldn't be too many. Have also included announcers for women that I'll be posting about as my top two current faves just happen to be in that profession.

The first five episodes of '3-Nen A Gumi' have now been posted. For series over five shows will be doing two batches of them as I figure ten posts are way too many to read through during one sitting so will have the second half of the drama coming up in 2-3 weeks, highly recommend the show.

June 4th.... Have written up the recaps for episodes 7 and 8 of the '3-Nen A Gumi' show and will have those long with episode eight by June 6th. Up next for Korean dramas is up in the air but leaning towards a pair of shorter series which will be either "Splish Splash Love" or "The Universe's Star".

IU(?): Her first of many posts....

IU is just so immensely popular you could probably devote a blog just for her and never run out of anything to post about, would think there are some but have never looked. IU is her stage name and the one everyone knows her by, her real name is Lee Ji-Eun but will never use it in her posts. Would think there will be many of them coming up though will refrain from posting any of her music videos or at least for a while unless someone requests them.
The I and U are supposed to be a combo of the words I and You, something along the lines of you the listener and her will become one through her music. And music is what IU was mainly known for in the beginning as she debuted as a singer when she was just fourteen and has been a success almost since day one. She also writes many of her tunes and is a rarity as she's as solo singer and those are the ones I've always enjoyed the most.

Seems IU is considered an Idol but that's probably due to a lack of a better word, seems most singers these days get labeled with that tag even if they're not one. More bio info as these posts go on but IU celebrated turning 26 on May 16th, for these posts won't be looking too much at her singing career though may do some posts for that as time goes on.
Main reason for doing actress posts at this new blog was to break away from all of the J-Pop Idols over at Aitoda but can't see any good reason not to have some music posts in the near future. Honestly not sure where to begin with things as there's so much IU out there and she's one of the busiest woman in the world, among the highest paid ones too in Korea as she promotes so many products. These posts will have no date order to them so just will post what fancies me for that day and how about starting off with some older promo pics for Sudden Attack from 2014.

IU has done so much work for them over the years such as pics like the ones above, CM's and appearing at events. I've never played the game though it seems to be very popular and no doubt she's helped out it's popularity level over the years. On July 14, 2017 IU was at a special event for Sudden Attack and gave a mini performance at the opening of it's Champion League match. I really like the way she looks, no gravure type figure but just so utterly attractive. That's a huge difference between Japanese and Korean singers as in Japan these days their sexiness and gravure pics could be more important than the music.

IU does appear in quite a few mags but seeing as how there could be a  mega amount of posts for her coming up will just have one of them in each post. Going back a few months to last October and this set is from Elle.

Saved the best for last and these are some A++++ pics of IU though she also has so many terrific ones it's hard to say which are her best. These are new too from an event that took place on May 1st, the event was the 55th 'Baeksang Awards' ceremony in Seoul. It's an awards show which honors the best actors and singers in dramas, films, music and the like. At the ceremony IU won the 'Popularity' award for naturally being the most popular female, she had also been up for an award for her role in the "My Ahjussi" drama.
Like a few other actresses that have been introduced recently need to increase my drama viewing to watch more of their shows. "The Producers" looks like it could be okay but what looks better is IU's upcoming series beginning in July, "Hotel Del Luna" and will give that series a shot. On to the dazzling pics and IU certainly did dazzle many fans or at least me, Korean actresses just look so elegant and classy at their award's shows. Of course have a video of the event after the pics.
